Alas, the availability and reliability on those is somewhat poor compared to the above options.

Haven't been on STO in ages, but I just wanna pop in and say... DS9 is the best Trek I've watched thus far. Got through TOS and TNG and I'm really digging DS9. Chugging along in season 4 now. Might not hit the highs of some of the better TNG episodes but it's much more consistently good. I pretty much like all the characters too, Kira may be the most annoying (Though that's kinda true with all Bajorans I guess (GUL DUKAT DID NOTHING WRONG!)) and even she's alright. And I can't get enough Morn, which is good since he's in almost every episode. Really good stuff. Not sure if I'll wanna press on to Voyager when I finish DS9. I've heard... Things. And assuming DS9 doesn't shit itself during the finale that would end my long Trek-trek on a high note.

Also gotta say I really like Sisko. POSSIBLY more than Picard!

Codex Civilization Defense Squadron on Fed side, and Harbingers of the Decline (in Klingonese) on KDF side.

To get in, just post your charname@username and we'll send you an invite. Remember, both of those are case specific, so include spaces, capital letters, commas, etc.

You got a friend invite sent to you by Skar@vaarna_aarne IDtenT. It's a handy way to see when bros are online and when they log in.

There's also a chat invite to our private channel (cross-faction and cross-game), go to Chat Settings and Channels tab there to accept it.

We're broke again. Buying the last of the commodities needed for the current round of upgrades has emptied the bank. I had to firesale some of the junk just to make the last few batteries needed. Need more money.

Well, it's not a question of how much I WANT. It's a question of how long you wish it to last before I have to bug you again.

Best to make it 10: I ran the numbers on the base now that Embassy 2 is up...it's going to cost at LEAST that much to provision the embassy and crap. 6500 terra + 3500 seismo is pushing the 10M range...and that'll leave us out again very shortly. Like, in about an hour. If you want to not be hit up again anytime soon, more like 20.

And that's WITH the Jew Bonus.

And, of course, there's the entire business of 10000 FM and a million dilithium, and the FM supply looks like it may get pinched again in the new future: The Mutants have discovered RPscene3 and pushed it into "hot".

Right, I'll put in my Weapons Free proceeds into the bank. It'll be around 20 mil I reckon (I stopped picking up the vendortrash a while back, guess I'll have to do it again).

Anyway, I've got around 3000 Marks covered, so we've got that done. How's your business in selling minerals and Fleet ships for FM?

Flat. No bites. It was never that big a sideline. We're not far enough ahead to be desirable anymore.

Agree completely. I've never watched DS9 end-to-end until now, I'm so glad Netflix got all of the Treks loaded into their streaming catalog. I'm currently about halfway through season 3 and enjoying the slow buildup with the Dominion. The story quality is night-and-day compared to the last two series I went through, Voyager and Enterprise. Ugh.

So I went to procure tonight, as I was busy this morning and figured we weren't going to be in any kind of rush, when I noticed someone had already filled the Embassy! Such impatience, or such desperation for FC.

I hope you used a Ferrengi. That cost is ouch.

No, but I did use the Ferengi set to take advantage of the sector space tycoon discount. I've got positive cashflow now that the Romulan and Omega tier projects are no longer hoovering up all of my EC. I figured you'd have your hands full with the insane dil requirements we're currently looking at.

Incidentally, one thing was brought up today:

The order of big upgrades for the Embassy. It might be a good idea to handle the Shuttle Bay BEFORE we push Diplo T2 upgrade out the garage. Opinions?

I have no opinion about that. The shuttle bay will certainly provide an immediately useful functionality, and will not affect our costs, but on the other hand, it will jam our Diplo progress. You make the call.

Yeah, that works. Cost for FerrengiSet on Sector Trader is same as Ferrengi on Tuffle. Although procurement is less of a hands-filling thing when I do it all at once, since I have a buy macro for that kind of crap.
