Well, we are probably going to begin work on Recruitment T3 first anyway, and the gap will mean that once we switch to 1.2k projects for both we can more easily blast ahead without running into the final "ain't got shit to do" segment.

Well, just don't leave it on one thing for too long: It tends to produce an excessive drain on a single type of resource without providing any means of unloading the byproducts, so eventually we can't get any more of that particular resource as there is too much byproduct to unload: I won't be able to degrind any more junk doffs because there will be nowhere to empty the resulting junk.

There's not really a drain on any single resource. All things in the Embassy ultimately come from four main sources: Fleet Marks, Dilithium, Energy Credits, and Fleet Credits. And the fourth one is gained from the first three.

EDIT: Well well well, the cat is out of the bag now.

I have no opinion about that. The shuttle bay will certainly provide an immediately useful functionality, and will not affect our costs, but on the other hand, it will jam our Diplo progress.

Dip is worthless until T3 as its were all tops out, we dont get Mk XII consoles or kits until T3 and Embassy functionality is at T2 as it avoids trips to New Romulus unless you are pimped out with Excelsiors that still requires sector travel time.

I dont think there is really any reason to delay Embassy projects because T2 is were most worth of the Embassy is at outside of the T3 tiers, at least the Discount vendor makes it worth going for T2.

On the plus side of things, they are only 3 projects byproducts of the Embassy tier levels, the Shuttle ride and the Discount Vendor at T2 and the Tailor at T3 were the rest is automatic unlocked along with the Embassy, there is really no reason to ignore Embassy T1 as the upgrade is required for T2 and puts no new project byproducts.

While syncing some fresh mules to meet the mineral demands we need, I accidentally promoted our resident ghost because of the annoying bug where what you have shown as selected on the UI doesn't match what the game actually thinks is selected. See if you can't refix that, or, you know, maybe clear his corpse off our list somehow.

Oh I want to make this note: If any of you wants the very rare Romulan Scorpion fighters pick then now as they put the DOFF costs in reverse so its cheaper to get then now that after the patch.

Well, PM me details if it's too sensitive to post the name here.
Sensitive? It's not sensitive, it's just Thumper, the mysterious ghost. He got accidentally promoted because the name selected on the UI apparently isn't the name the game decides to act on.

Well, since whoever decided they wanted to pay for the entire rest of the embassy came to their senses and decided against doing so, we're now go. Don't let that stop anyone from continuing to hoard fleet marks, though. We definitely need more attention on the Klingon side now.

I've decided to continue running the 200 XP Diplo provisioning project because that thing consumes nothing we don't have immediately available, so is guaranteed to launch pretty much immediately upon my noticing it, vs. a project that's going to sit stalled on the launchpad for lack of doffs.

So we doing Diplo or Recruitment to T3 first?

EDIT: Also, if there's an imbalance in Dilithium in there, just inform me. I fixed this one as well (just needed a lot of small transfers until got an even number in the sum).

Given our present rate of progression, probably Recruitment will reach T3 first, but I recommend a more balanced advancement to avoid putting undue strain on the demand for Tactical goons, which are already in short supply. Plus, the side diplo project will give me a place to dump all those crappy Sci doffs I keep getting, and it is better to have a project that moves than one that sits stalled from lack of resources.

KDF-side, Recruitment is very nice because I always need more doffing slots there: KDF doffing is just so much better than Fed doffing that it's not funny. But ultimately an unbalanced progression will cost us heavily in fleetmarks, which are already in desperately short supply there, unlike Fedside where they are much more farmable. We need to put together a farming team there.

I've started stocking up Marks for the Diplo facility upgrade. I think I'll be able to provide up to 3k Marks by the time it'll become available.

Well Discount Vendor is 950 marks, same as LOL shuttle and its 20 hours, only differences in costs are Vendor takes commodities but nowhere near Embassy II upgrade costs (more like a tenth of the cost) as Dilithium costs are also the same.

I might have marks spread around, I noticed in one character I had 100 I think because of Daily Fleet Action as I dont think the Discount Vendor will be much of a issue to complete, it should be a day if the game does not decide to make the Daily FA being LOL Temple (that is a pain because the plants location are not marked and most people are doing it for the Dil and ignore it), since I have a few days I might get then across my characters, at least get enough marks so I can farm the rest needed.

Bad news, bros. The Masturbatorium is Dead. I had been wondering for ages how the hell it wasn't dead yet, and now it is. FMs are now largely dry on this end.

I guess those 2 clicker runs were right the end of time.

KDF still have Bloodsport, I know it requires being there for 20 minutes but at least its more stable since you HAVE to be there for 20 minutes.

Oh, hey, Drakron: FYI, as a cost-saving measure, I am not going to launch the KDF Embassy upgrade until Recruit/Diplo hit close to the 25K line. Otherwise it will add XP while we can still generate it more cheaply, forcing us to pay for expensive XP sooner. Place marks towards that goal instead of pumping up the embassy project. Given how starved we are on fleet marks, every saving helps. Honestly, I'm not sure who even queued that...

Will try, end up not doing much on the weekend due to cold putting me to sleep and then decided to try out TERA forgetting the clusterfuck that is installation time (installing god knows how many GB and THEN patch the fucking thing with god knows how many GB) and not realizing at first who were the European publishers and downloading the EU client first.

Alright bros, the Discount Vendor is now rolling. The Diplomacy II upgrade will be available in 20 hours. I'll have 2.5k Fleet Marks to ram into it at that point.

EDIT: Btw, there's a new minimum effort Officer Report mission on the Foundry, named Gorn Space. I'm going to run a test of it soon. Supposed to be one-click and some unarmed ships, with a 20 minute timer to finish. Could be easy for someone who wants to go AFK for a while and post on teh Codex.

EDIT2: It works bros! Just 20 minutes of posting on teh Codex and getting paid to do it!

EDIT3: KDF has an equivalent mission, called Fed Space. Identical in all respects.

KDF has Bloodsport already. I have been working out a system for farming it by dragging my Doffalts into it to watch with me.

So how many Marks could you get from that at most per day? (Meaning how many multiples of 250, counting you and shadow army)

Beats me. I'm still working it out. Probably not as many as I would like, I don't have as much hardware to throw at the problem as I would like.
