A single doff is 500 for a random useless civilian or scientist, and 750 to actually perform a useful task with direction. Randomboxes are only used for the initial stage if we have all 3 project types open. A stack of these is 50, so it costs 25K or 37.5K to purchase a stack. Quantities less than stack are just pointlessly irritating and unhelpful: You don't buy one nail or one piece of lumber, you buy entire boxes or truckloads of them.

At this point in time, an average daily consumes about 200 doffs, not including annoyance due to doffs being of the wrong type, as they come out of the box at random. So for practical usage, it takes about 5 stacks of doffs to reliably fill anything. And that's just ONE daily. We often have up to 6 of them. So, we're looking at about 30 stacks of doffs a day, for a cost of about 1.2M FC/day.

It requires an extremely organized and mechanical approach to make sure everything runs on time, and half-assed help is worse than no help as a result.

I've got massive mounds of FC on both my KDF pumps, with 500k each ready to blow on doffs. My question remains the same as yesterday, namely that I would need one last priming for my pumps.

Tried to play this again today. It crashed my whole computer a couple of minutes after I logged in. I don't even remember the last time that happened.

From what you guys are saying, it sounds like it would take months before a new player could be useful for building starbases. I think I'll wait for that neverwinter open beta.

Actually that is not the case. In terms of Dilithium, the problem is solved easily. You can also hit the level cap in a week or two if you do the ordinary way, getting gear that's good enough for Elite content is just a matter of having a few million in Energy Credits and buying some stuff from the Exchange. The most important thing would be having a purple X kit and a proper bridge officer set-up for the ship.

Actually, that's pretty true. It did indeed take me a couple months before I was in a position to really begin building starbases. Building starbases is not really a good new-player concern, and a new player should focus on building up his own accounts first.

Yeah...please tell me that was a mistake. We're locked out of making any contributions to the embassy or starbase Fedside.

Actually, this was a plan on Norfleet's part. He wanted to ensure his contact provides the Fleet Marks owed before anyone goes ahead and fills the thing. Once he's done, the contributions will return to normal.

(Personally I think just posting that there's a plan in motion would have sufficed)

I've tried that before, but people forget or simply don't notice memos. If I post in the forums, someone will be in the game and not have noticed the forum. If I scream in the game, someone will be offline or AFK. I even tried shouting in the message header...no one noticed that, either, probably because they're mostly accustomed to the space being used for one of Vaarna's jokes. There's just not a good, reliable method of telepathically communicating something immediately. Since this deal was extremely important and there was zero margin remaining for errors, it was necessary to take a more direct approach. Now that the books are balanced again, things are unlocked. We should be fairly smooth sailing for a bit. Okay, more like 2 days, but still. Vespene should be contributed only towards the big projects now, like upcoming Engi T5. Now that we're unlocked again, try to take some initiative and fill the non-Vespene aspects of the Dailies: I have a gruelling schedule to keep with that damnable CE event. I hate special events. So annoying.

Okay, this has been going on for some time and is getting really really annoying: Quit filling in prestocked commodities in tiny, non-stack quantities. It says *1000* Antigens. That means you put in *1000*. When you put in 100 like some annoying comedian, not only does this NOT decrease my workload at ALL, but it actually makes it WORSE because I have to cut up a stack just to make it fit, then restack the leftover tailings. STOP THAT SHIT. Seriously. Either finish the job, or don't do anything at all.

ALL or NOTHING.

(Personally I think just posting that there's a plan in motion would have sufficed)
Strictly speaking, that would get very redundant very quickly, because there's always a plan in motion. If anything, the absence of a plan is the exceptional state. If progress is occurring, there is a plan: Without a plan, there can be no progress. This is why it gets very annoying when people do stuff that not only doesn't really help, but actually impedes the efficiency of getting through my work.

We're also on Tier 4 at the Fed base (only Industrial Fagricator to go, SB upgrade itself is held back for now in order to save up resources), soon at T4 on KDF as well.

For everyone running Crystalline Entity event:

Get Fleet Mark Boosters before completion, a minimum worth of 200 points need to be in reserve. That way, you'll turn 1000 FM into 1200 FM for completing the event, earning mucho extra FM we need.

I am temporarily locking contrib again to prevent any mishaps that would foul our trade deals, as everything else we need is in. Don't Panic.

Btw, if you've followed the thread about the podcast, Branflakes has deleted all the posts where people wanted to see lots of players banned.

The KDF T4 shipyard is now underway. Soon we'll be able to get.....the Fleet Negh'var and Fleet Hoh'SuS! Yay?

Fleet Neggy is actually a decent ship, unlike the Fleet Failaxy. The Hohsus is a BoP with 4 tac consoles, so it can really dispense some surprise pain. Like all BoPs, though, entirely PvP-oriented.

Also, I have found that Defera is rather farmable. We require more Vespene Gas. Show up and I will explain moar.

Not that any of you really care because I know that none of our noble and forthright Fleet members would ever take advantage of an STO exploit, the foundry dil issue was resolved in this morning's patch.

Foundry mission rewards have been updated.
  • Players will only receive rewards for one mission at a time, once per hour.

Sounds like Communism.
