Afaik when you drown his wagon Jubilost should be somewhere in the Capital and joins party if you talk to him before completing troll chapter.

I programmed a hotkey to keep my old druid with the constitution of a sickly pink budgie from rushing headlong into a melee battle right after he casts a spell
Honestly I can't even imagine tackling this game without first having familiarity with D&D.
What do you mean by this exactly? The only AI options I'm aware of are cast-automatically and auto-attack toggle. Did they add more options into the game? (I haven't played in a while).

I always manually control my rolled character and typically set the others on AI (but not always) and for some reason he would always rush into battle from the backlines right after he cast a spell, getting himself killed inevitably if I didn't fumble for and find the Stop key (default G) in time. Now I programmed my extra mouse buttons for quick access to that key and I stop him immediately after his spellcasting animation begins. I've been playing this game sloppily, until now. Shit is gonna get serious.
Actually, the unheard of and extensive customization of this game's difficulty makes it so that even a mental defective that only played Dora The Explorer Win95 games could probably complete it. Experience with D&D helps but is probably not necessary if you set the custom difficulty levels to Consoletard. I use whatever the defaults are for "Normal."
Uh, equip a ranged weapon?
Disable AI for that char (not sure if possible individually)?
Yeah but a lot of the enjoyment of this kind of game comes from successful manipulation of the ruleset.
There is an icon to turn on or off AI. It works only on selected characters.Uh, equip a ranged weapon?

No, I don't think you can turn off AI for individual characters, or if there is that option, I never found it. And yes, my first thought was to just have him use a ranged weapon but why waste a feat on something like that (default vanilla Druids can't use shit when it comes to ranged weapons it seems) when I'd rather put it into Natural Spell or Spell Focus?
But after that I learned that I should have done that from the start as it is very useful to have him be able to cast spells and healing at exact moment you need it instead of few seconds later.
If you playing without mods and your saves were made at 1.2.7 or 1.2.6 than chances of survival are pretty high and saves will be compatible.

Make her Kinetic Knight to utilize her high ConI am thinking of starting a new game in 1.3
Can you make Valerie Eldritch Knight to utilize her high Charisma?
She fell off hard as pure tank even with Stalwart Defender, I am thinking of another build for her in this new play through.
