It is 10 Diamond Dusts. Getting it on my AT and party wide Sheild/Barkskin from Jubi made enough difference for me on Unfair to stop summon spam and start taking hits. From goblins at least.

10 for Communal, wasn't it?

Yes, I meant it when talking about 10 vs 13 level. One person version competes with Improved invis as defense buff and kinda loses.

Only on Rogues. The rest can use Displacement. And if you put extended displacement in same slot as greater invisibility you get same fun for 2x the duration.

But Displacement competes with haste which is even worse. I try to pull off close to 100% Haste uptime in combat starting from Bloom.
And with Stinking Cloud on arcane casters.

Eh, I missed Linzi in the final parts. With her, I had like 50% Haste uptime... without her, it was a luxury.

I usually turn Jubilost into Haste dispenser in last chapters - with amulet that extends hastes he has ~10-14 of them to fill all lvl 3 and 4 slots.

My Clockwork Amulet was gone with Linzi...
Tried Jubilost for a while but... he felt kinda weak next to Kalikke. The ghosts were really very annoying. Golems were quite the HP sponges also. So I gave up and picked Kalikke again.

Jubilost shits all over golems and pretty much anything thats resistant to conventional stuff with his bombs.

I used both Kineticist and Jubilost in the House, it is Nok-Nok who got the kick( Bad Fort and Will result in bit too often deaths from wild hunt archers with save or die shots.

Golems are pushovers here, don't need Jubilost for them.
And his bombs have limited blast radius, so he'd be out of bombs after a bigger golem encounter or 3.

He's not really effective at killing them at HATEOT. My melee char did better.
He was slightly better vs ghosts, but had nothing on the Kineticist companion. Or Harrim and Octavia with Mass Heal and Stormbolts for that matter.

Yeah, some months ago people were amazed by how deadly he is. IMO he's not that great at dealing damage. Even in top shape.
And the DPS of a debilitated or dead party member is 0...

Nok-Nok's strenght comes from his very basic kit and amazing starting weapons. +2 Keen kukris for dualwielding at lvl8 for a knifemaster with max dex are simply amazing, especially before your own triple class combos and/or high level spells kick in. He's deadly without any investment in the beginning, thats why we were so amazed.

I'm really liking this game so far, and Nok-Nok is one of my favorites so far. I really like when dialogue makes me chuckle a bit like this, the goblin option being the only one with a slight hesitation on it

Boy I reach chapter 5 (I think it's 5 at least, it's when you need to deal with
barbarian war vs elf lady that gave you barony or choose going after you-know-who after the betrayal
) and all hell is breaking loose, goddamn

I'm wondering about the timing of things in this game, is it a bad or a good idea to rush the main quests in each chapter? So many projects and rank-ups require a lot of fucking time.

And also one last question: what is the point of researching all those curses that take a lot of my High Priest/Magister's time?

All chapters beside Varnhold > barbarians start at fixed calendar date starting from ch1 final, so rushing main quest changes nothing. It is still reasonably useful if only to stop chapter event spam, like undead attacks in Varnhold.
Moreso, almost all game events happen at fixed dates, including companion quests.
Time is most important resource in P:K, and it is extremely limited until the end of barbarian chapter, there is no way to avoid piles upon piles of projects and advisor leveling cards.

And also one last question: what is the point of researching all those curses that take a lot of my High Priest/Magister's time?
Small spoiler here:
They are one of the requirements for secret ending. Beside it is only small benefits as Arcane and Divine points or extra building with minor plot info.

spoiler for the choice
If you help the swordlords first, you'll only miss one dialogue with Nyrissa, and you can still take Tristan back if you want to. I think the Nyrissa encounter is important if you want to romance her, but other than that you don't miss anything.
If you go after Tristan first, the swordlords lose most of their army, Kassil dies (I think?) and your relation with the swordlords goes to shit.

It's better to first deal with the main quest in each chapter, then you have time to explore and level up kingdom stats before another part of the main quest hits you. As long as you have a main quest unresolved you'll get additional problem events with high DC, it's even possible to fail some parts of the "main" quests in each chapter
like the missing brother in Varnhold and (I think) the lost child in the Troll chapter
if you take too long and that will lower your kingdom mood.

On the other hand if you wait, you might get some nifty artisan item before tackling difficult encounters (for example Serpent Prince or Opressor early game). But its not guaranteed, of course.

Currently playing the Varnhold DLC but I think I waited too long to do those quests (lvl 10) because it's pretty much a faceroll. Purchased that 500 BP trade agreement with my bard's home city so hopefully it opens up a lot of economic options since I've been stagnating in that area. That fey Conference/Test quest felt dull, dumb and pointless. Still plugging away at the game though and enjoying it though things haven't been too lively lately however I suspect that hitting the main quest missions again will ramp up the challenge enormously.

Is the Deal with the Devil quest bugged as fuck?

It seems it's stuck at "Await the conclusion of Linxia's investigation" forever, meanwhile I get hit with those -5 Loyalty -2 Community reports non-stop

You need to leave throne room and talk to her on the city square, there is cutscene near the stairs.
Or, if you already did that part, trigger extra dialogue when leaving city from the square on legs.

Also just learned that there are a lot of mods that fix the annoying things that ruin the game for me, so hooray for that
