So waht if its full action, you cast once and then melee.

Perhaps if you solo...

In a party in turn based mode, by the time you take position, then use another full round to activate the ability, most of the enemies are already dead...

harrim cant tank and his heals are far inferior than tristians.
:O
*AHEM*
I RESPECTFULLY DISAGREE!
Give Harrim a fauchard, or longspear, get outflank. Later throw a +4 or +6 belt to qualify him for combat reflexes. Then watch as he becomes useful by procing outflank. There are other ways to build him too. In my last Unfair Playthrough, I built him as a mystic theurge, I ended up liking it a lot! He got access to so many buffs and spells! You can also build him as a full cleric with one level dip into fighter, but that doesn't sound very exciting..

Also Harrim or Tristian shouldn't be on front lines tanking...

Harrim’s fine tanking Soul Eaters and Giants. Not so much Spiders and Owlbears.

If you open with it from Stealth, this does actually work. Bonus points if you’ve got Linzi/Val Displaying her Thuglife tats. Nobody wants to see that.

I am not sure how stealth and TB mod works together. I scout ahead with a stealth character and click attack on enemy. Game goes into surprise round thing, my stealth person is no longer in stealth and enemies also roll initiative..

Valerie is a fantastic tank until the touch attacks come in. And those are so late that you shouldn't care. Valerie has 40 unbuffed AC at level 10 if you make her a defender. She has fantastic HP so she can stand while being hit, and hit you will be.

She had a Mirror Image get hit here and there on my Lawful playthrough. Linzi currently playing that role with Cautious Fighter and Reduce Person.

Monk was already pretty good but unchained is awesome sauce
Monk is bad. Unchianed monk is less bad. But that is from th epoint of view of me, who thinks that all martials are third-tier and below.
I was playing monk in Baldur's Gate 1, it felt awful....

Martials had little to do in BG overall. Now there are at least Combat Maneuvers, Teamwork feats and some active feats / features.

Bloodhound should have stacking bonus damage, right?
Stacking part never worked when I tried to check it. But it is still +5 Speed sword with extended crit range that stacks with Impoved Critical for 15-20.

Same for me. I feel like it is one of best weapons for Val if you take Dex from her quest and lvl ups, and stacking should've helped with her dmg problem, but no luck here.

Actual free top-BAB attack when using monk weapon... free feat... full BAB progression...

Unchained Monk is boss.
I think all martials suck in D&D. All. Of. Them. In cRPGS martial combat has way too much weight so you need someone to do the dirty work. Also, cRPGs tend to weaken casters; because if you had all the spells actually available to the wizard, then that would make everything else unnecessary after level 5.
Eh I don't think it's always weak to dip 1 level to get all those bonuses. And unchained makes it so much more effective to dip.

Yes casters > all but sometimes a dip gives you dramatically more than you lose, especially if your goal is not merely to cast spells.

My MC multiclass has insane saves, AC, etc...

I need to try a run with 4 monks, each of different kind :)
I mean the free attack at full BAB alone is insane. But you only get a limited number of good kamas early on so

Does not matter, I can use unarmed with the rest. The biggest problem in this would be healing.

You're getting the artisan ones, right? Free blind is pretty nice.

If you kill something fast enough, then you minimize the amount of damage they can do to you. Just auto attack them to death! :D

Fun thing about TB mod and low level combat is that you can (ab)use a little change of rules that Owlcat did for this game: using potions is a move action that does not provoke AoO. Until you get more than one attack you can easily use one potion per round to heal and attack once. Something my tanking paladin used a lot in some battles. Potion (move) + lay on hands self (swift) lets him heal all damage received from enemy attacks in previous round :)
You can also use two healing potions per round if you so wish.

Martials had little to do in BG overall. Now there are at least Combat Maneuvers, Teamwork feats and some active feats / features.

Given all the different factors in play a well-integrated and supported group of martials (often supporting one another) ends up being the smoothest overall experience.

Even Kit will enjoy it I think if he ever tries it.
