So, jokes aside, as far as the Shitmaker ending:

It's actually less annoying and terribad than the Pitax and House at the End of Shit chapters. At first, I thought it was going to be worse, with the curse gimping your party (60% less damage, etc), but contrary to their sadistic nature, Owlcat actually nerfed enemy encounters during the period where you remove the curse. So they weren't too bad. Given the rest of the game, I thought they might actually make the enemies harder, but for once, they did the sane thing.

There was also a really small time limit, but by using the First World portal travel and Jhod's resting facilities, you can actually finish everythign super quick. The final slog to the Lantern King through herds of Wild Hunt was pretty easy for my particular build (2 Handed Fighter and support), but might vary for others, since those Wild Hunt are OP as fuck if you don't have a 5 attack per round machine, doing 70-200 damage per hit.

The final fight also wasn't too bad, by Shitmaker standards. Had to retry it a few times with all the phases and what not, but it was just a tough boss fight, nothing crazy, which in this game, is a definite outlier

The ending slides were boring as fuck, but the otucome was alright, good kingdom, everyone at peace, bla blah.

All right, I will just assume that it is making me look manly, sophisticated and prestigious. I am sure that Porky would not choose anything lesser for me.

But attrition is important and removing or trying to minimize it result in games like Deadfire. Boring , not too engaging and usually very easy.

*ahem* BG2 *ahem*

With or without Scs?

Lol I should have said most of the time result in games like Deadfire.

That problems aside (most of them are fixable with mods and it's very modfriendly it seems) and the bugs (most are fixed it seems) the game is pretty great. Definitely the best D&D experience since Baldur's Gate II. TOEE or Knights of the Chalice
At least pretend to have some taste.

I meant full-fleshed out rpgs not just a small local bugbear setting or a pure linear tactical game.

Umm, as much as I think PF:K is the greatest instance of incline since the IE games, why the fuck can't I turn off tooltips?. It would be great to just extend the delay by 5 sec, or off altogether.

I'm one of these autists that has to read something for the split second it takes to not read it realize I don't need to read it. Ignoring that, the tooltips are big; they take up screensize, and I don't need the tooltip obscuring the enemies or the map every time my mouse hovers over something.

This was once of my biggest gripes in the EE of BG, but always thought it was a limitation of old tech > new engine.

Did you try this:

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.

'Tis tutorial messages as you say. Something lost in translation there as I would have assumed that referred to the instructions encountered in the game - like the pop-ups when you start your kingdom.

Ah...actually that didn't work after all.

Maybe Owlcat will read this and decide it's not such a great idea to have a 4" x 8" page of opaque information obscuring over your screen everytime you mouse over an enemy.
I can only hope.

What you describe sounds like Inspect mode, it could be toggled on and off with "Eye" icon on panel, next to Menu, Character and Inventory. Or with Y keybind.

Thanks for reply, its not that though - I'll post a screenshot when I run into some enemies to give you an idea. It doesn't bring the page up out of combat - but I mean the stat page that you get per enemy: closest thing to waht they called tooltips in the IE games when you mouse-over an enemy and you got their name.

Is it possible to use and turn off the turn based mod mid-game with no problems or do I need a fresh start like in Deadfire iirc?

It is possible. Alt-T is the default keybind to switch back and forth. No need to start a new game.

Do you guys play real time with pause or with the turn based mod?

I've been looking into pathfinder and it seems fun. I even started listening to the podcast called "Glass Cannon Podcast", so far i'm enjoying it its a pathfinder related show

Turn-based. It's a beautiful thing.

I'll occasionally toggle back to RTwP if I'm at a spot with weaker encounters occurring at higher frequency, but overall I just enjoy the turn-based so much more. And that's from someone who doesn't mind RTwP and felt that Kingmaker has pretty much the best implementation of it to date.

A question for you ladies:

Do you still fail Amiri's quest if you do Betrayer flight before Hour of rage?
