they added that option because those that werent familiar with pathfinder had no way of learning enemy stats/abilities/etc and even then those were mostly modified in some way. it also requires skill checks by your characters to function. it is also turned off by default.

I'm very into cock and ball torture
Is there anyone in the HatEoT in unfair right now? I need hp of to encounters in there and my save files are busted due to modding.
Not me. I'm on chapter 1 unfair. You should have asked me months earlier. I don't keep old saves, because of the save bloat that the game suffers from. I also don't back them because I'm stupid.

I keep my old saves but İt always become a pointless thing to do since I fiddle with mods too much.

Here is something I didn't see it on anywhere. You can finesse large bastard swords with slashing grace.

Huh, I did not know that. Is that a bug? Or per PnP?

Fighter has a way to finesse anything with advance weapon training but that comes at level 9. This is likely a bug.

It also happens with any other one handed slashing/piercing weapon you can take slashing/fencing grace for. You can finesse Lion's Claw falcata with with this. Or any longsword you fancy. Pretty neat.

I spotted the problem. Every time I restart the game the "tutorial messages" resets from "none" to "only short tips". It also doesn't save the setting if you change it on the game menu page - when the game starts - before you load your game, and defaults to tutorial messages again. It seems to save the setting in-game,. which is why I thought it initially worked when Pink Eye told me what setting it was.

This is with version 2.07b (latest) so if nobody else is experienceing this, then I suspect a mod is borking it.

I already knew about non-finessable one-handed weapons, but a large two-hander? Does sound like a bug... Or rather oversight.

It is unique to Large Bastard Sword. I suspect it is because game just counts it as bastard sword and allows slashing grace to work. This is really nice oversight since it allows you to build a dex based two hander without rogue dip.

Does anybody knows any way to dual wield two oversized bastard swords by the way (including mods)?

Pick oversized limbs as a tiefling. Will have to check what mod that is. This removes the penalty for oversized weapons.
Then the Advanced martial arts mod has feats that apply to advanced weapon training: effortless dual wielding (light weapons) and trained grace (I think). You need to have the weapon finesse feat to qualify, then you can treat bastard swords as finessable, and the second perk allows you to double your weapon training damage.

The trick is you have weapon finesse applying to-hit with DEX, and STR still has to apply to damage. So it isn't really a DEX build. Still have to try it at high levels. Also don't know if DEX>Damage feats cancel it out. I always played as a TWF character, but it's pissing me off lately.

Edit: THe advanced martial arts feats seem a bit glitchy, so I take no responsibility. For instance: if you're a 2 handed fighter, it will still come up as "effortless duel weilding - two handed weapon style" or something like that. I assume you have to be a normal fighter and not the kit/prestige class.

Scratch all that. Still resets to "only short tips on" reload, saves to "none" in-game, and then still gives me the tool tips when I mouse over enemies. Don't know what the fuck is going on.

If you have mods installed, try uninstalling them all. Otherwise, I suggest sending in a bug report. Very weird issue.

im not sure if it works (or ever did) but i vaguely remember you could "drink" alchemist fires from inventory and it cast them at your feet so you could use it if you got a bunch lying around

That fight is bugged. You can chug down potions without downtime or animation.
