if you increase difficulty a bit later on, probably.
you should have as much as you can every possible way.

i mean the ac thresholds,i usually have around 45-50 for my tanks starting chapter 2 in hard.
i guess for unfair you need 60-70 at that point?
I managed to beat unfair without ever going over 60 AC, so you definetely don't NEED more than that during chapter 2. The easiest way to go through the game, for me, was playing with a couple of animal companions (the smilodon is obviously stronger, but the mastodon has a bit more AC) and a tank built around Mirror Image and Displacement.

Anyone played the Call of the Wild mod( https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/112?tab=description ) is the implementation of witch pnp like? There is the Ice Tomb hex? If yes, how do i install mods on kingmaker?
Downloading mods is pretty straight forward. Here's a quick guide:
1)Download UMM: https://www.nexusmods.com/site/mods/21
Click on files

Scroll down
qyM6uA9.png
Click manual download
It will ask slow download or fast download. Pick slow download. Then save the file to any location within your storage device.
(I saved mine in the downloads folder)

2)Once you've downloaded UMM, you then need to do the following:
Grab the UMM zipped folder and move it to a different location away from your downloads folder. I myself moved it to my desktop, this makes it easier for me to remember where to find it. Once you do that. You will then unzip the contents.
fk9ozu6.png
After you've unzipped it you will then open the folder up.

You will next go to this .exe file and open it.

Once you did that, this window will pop up. Configure it so it looks like this:
Qlg30Oo.png
When you're done with the configurations you will then click on install. If all went right, it should say "installation was successful".
Congratulations! You downloaded and installed the Unity Mod Manager! Now for mods.

3)Where to get mods and how to install them?
>Mods can be gained from the nexus: https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/
>installation of mods is simple. I will go over that in the next part.
Okay, let's say I felt like installing the Call of the Wild mod. How would I do that? Well, for starters you have to first download the file. The Call of the Wild mod: https://www.nexusmods.com/pathfinderkingmaker/mods/112
Downloading the mod follows the same steps as downloading the UMM does. Once you've got the mod downloaded. You will go to the location of where it was downloaded. For me, it's in the downloads location. Next, you will grab the zipped folder and place it in an easy to remember place. I'll be placing it in the desktop location.
Run the UMM application .exe.
2hyotGb.png
Then click on the "mods" section.
R6FrT0b.png
Grab your zipped mod folder, then place it here:
yRibvpk.png
Select the mod, then click the "Install mod". If all went successful you should see "status: OK".

4)Run the game.
Upon doing so, you should see this window:
t6IBraI.png
To verify that the mod is working. There should be a green circle at the status. This means that the mod is working!
Now enjoy your witch class!

Thanks a lot. I installed the call of the wild and races unleashed. Enjoying my male winter dhampir witch. Get used to have low CHA will not be easy since there are some checks that can give ludicrous high XP but getting spells one level before will be amazing. I

is melee in unfair viable?
how much ac you should have in unfair?

Early game can be very rough. Heavy dose of cheese/summon meatshields/CC is recommended. But around level 5-6 it becomes much more manageable.
~70 AC recommended for Unfair end game tanking. And 40+ touch AC. Very nice to have Uncanny Dodge and Mirror Image. CC can reduce the pressure a lot. With party support you can get by with lower numbers.

Regarding viability, depends on build...

... but also party support and party synergies, like Desiderius so enthusiastically proves.

The reason I asked was because I was trying to rebuild my Vivi and was wondering about the value of some of the Holy weapons. If Holy does damage to targets regardless of alignment, that would be pretty big.

Don't think they do. Some enemies get holy damage dice, some axiomatic, some both, some anarchic, a few none.

Nope. Countless bugs still remain. I am going to go off on a limb here and assume that official patching for Kingmaker is "complicated". As they are now working on the sequel.
Only the best games have the balls to never be bug free.
Arcanum, Morrowind, Fallout 2, PF:KM.
Hopefully in about 10 years an autist like Drog will show up to patch the game for us.
He'll prolly be Russian too.
Bugs are a sign of quality people.

they don't think sneak with multiple rays is bug cause munchkinism afaik

this is why enemies need dispels. in BG2 even vanilla normal difficulty firkraag had dispel.

Game has a lot of really good weapons and items. Only way Rays can compete is to allow their quasi-iterative attacks to get Sneaks like weapons do. Three long-lasting group buffs DNE munchkinism.

More like "completed" :argh:

They just fixed a bug last month that was crucial to resuming my first playthrough. I'd be hard-pressed to come up with five bugs left in the game, let alone countless. Don't let the haters bully you into nonsense because you're afraid they'll call you a shill. Owlcat has been slow but steady in cleaning up the bugs. There's no evidence that they're done yet.

But either only SOME instances were fixed or the issue came back.
Which is entirely possible because, judging by 2 technical updates for WotR, their Kingmaker code was not well structured (probably at the level of buggy spaghetti). In this case fixing one instance does not say anything about all the other similar, but different ones.

That Kingmaker code wasn't well structured was clear since they started heavily patching the game: every single patch introduced several game-breaking bugs and reintroduced bugs solved with previous patches.

But, as a wise man once said:

Bugs are a sign of quality people.
