Yes that's exactly what I said in my earlier post from Neocore's first game to their second. Except for the fact that apparently you're complaining about the state PK is is in, but it "doesn't make you wary of buying more of their stuff". Maybe I do need to Learn2read. King Arthur the Roleplaying Wargame: Worth a positive review. Had (apparently) a memory leak that cused the game to crash after a few battles. Could be limited with third party fix. Developers were cunts for not fixing it, which means I'll be wary of buying one of their games again - but the game was "playable" and overall an incline.

I never said Owlcat are "cunts" precisely because they're fixing stuff and I'm not yet wary of buying more of their products. It just wouldn't be a pre-order anymore.

The thing is, even without bugs, Kingmaker is not that great either. Again, take what i say with a pinch of salt, because i haven't completed the game yet, but from what i have read/watched until now the game does not appear to be anything more than a mediocre BG clone.

It is very hypocritical of you, and others like you, to pretend PoE wasn't fun but somehow Kingmaker is... If anything, Kingmaker is less fun because it does not work like a modern video game, it has no QoL improvements one would expect in 2018.

Seriously, there is a ton of hypocricy on the codex regarding the PoE vs Kingmaker situation. I might begin to like Kingmaker when it gets patched, but that will happen because i liked PoE as well. Pretending one is game is garbage while a very similar game is God's gift to mankind, is a sign of either hypocricy, or mental disorder...

Yes, after Pitax the game is much weaker and lose some momentum, but its still solid.

I like PoE, Tyranny and Deadfire, they are fine, but in some way PK is much more fun. The game has this colorful pattern, fun, with a nice vibe, almost naive. I like this, as opposite to PoE serious tone.

PK is a much needed game. Could be shorter, for sure, but lots of incline.

And man, is that crown ugly. Like someone bolted a crown to a helmet ugly. Couldn't they have designed something a little more subtle than that? Or at least have it not show on the character, the way most head gear is handled?

This beast is wrecking shit and putting the rest of my party to shame by almost every metric.

If it's really bothering you, get the Visual Adjustments mod. It allows you to hide equipment.

Honestly, why not every game comes with the ability to turn off such things, I'll never know, especially with things that are often visually disruptive, at least, such as cloaks (which always clips and shit) and helmets (which tend to be silly).

I am 10 hours into this game, the thing that really bothers me other than various glitches is the writing. It's so generic and unispired, i hope it will get better later. Also techincally is a mess

10 hours into the game and you think techincally is a mess? Give us some examples.

-It crashed to desktop 2 times
-He got stucked on a loading screen once and i had to reset pc
-Lot of visual glitches like heads disappearing or party members having weird animations
-Combat music sometimes didn't trigger
-Graphics looks like a worse version of Diablo 3 one (2012).
