Do you have any idea if his build will work on Unfair? Up to now I've only been testing it on normal.

You know just to clear up any confusion. You know.

Hey didn't mean to be an asshat with the link. But I know where you thought it scaled with STR, it was STR scaling back in 3.5. Famous builds stacking ungodly amounts of STR and then picking Leap Attack for that delicious multiplier.
whoever said citation needed, yeah my memory was flawed. But the build is Shock Trooper and you sacrificed AC instead of STR.

Still for knowledge
Ah, the good old Spiritual Lion Totem Barbarian Frenzied Berserker with Leap Attack and Shock Trooper. Even more fun if you add in the Goliath race with 6 levels of Dungeon Crasher Fighter and the Knockback feat. Great memories.

Anyways, the only thing that Power Attack scaled with back in 3.5 was your level.

The reason why I'm recommending paladin is because its easier to build than crusader. But if he wants crusader, okay. Desiderius Do you remember that crusader shield bashing build you would talk about in the steam forums?

STR-based use PA, DEX-based use Pirhana, Ranged use Deadly Aim. Don't take any of them until lvl ten.

Stats are off on that Crusader because I didn't know how to respec properly at the time. Don't really need Monk splash either, just slay.

I feel like there's a better way to consolidate and represent these buffs.
Enough, Sawyer! Come face your death - I'm the one who will sentence you.
From a relic of a crumbled franchise, a relic I steal.
Curse you, Sawyer, blinded by your faded power, I take your SOUL!
Curse you, Sawyer, thriving in your blind arrogance, I take your playerbase!

>In addition, the bonus damage from this feat is doubled on a critical hit, before it’s multiplied by the weapon’s critical multiplier.
:shredder:
Ya. It's going to be really stupid. I am very interested to see how they handle the difficulty for high level play. Kingmaker already falls apart once you make it past level 10. Even on Unfair.

Translation?

Stat bloat.

Well that one was kind of a joke since everybody was slagging on Crusader I made a group of five group boosters (Tactical Leader, Vanguard, etc...) to make it look godly.

It’s a solid class for shield bashing specifically but in a regular group the stats will be reasonably well-matched with the harder foes on Unfair unless you’re really pre-buffed hard.

Only if you’re firing on all cylinders. It’s still a decent challenge playing tinman on Unfair without short buffs.

Any opinions on how the new turn-based mode affects the difficulty? I originally played RTwP on Challenging Mode and found the boss fights extremely tedious. Some bosses could wipe the entire party in seconds (troll king), severely limiting my offensive options. I was thinking of lowering the difficulty on a replay, but perhaps the new turn-based mode allows for more flexibility.

The point of the game is to identify and exploit the weaknesses of different threats, while ameliorating their strengths. Troll King is the first place where doing so is mandatory. It's not so much a question of difficulty as approach. If you're party is getting wiped in seconds there's another approach you haven't tried yet that will work better. If fact there is a tomb a couple chapters later with 30-50 Troll King type mobs that you'll handle readily once you figure it out.

Anyone else having all DLC not working in 2.1.0j from GOG?
I reinstalled the whole damn thing but it didn't get fixed :(

EDIT: Indeed it is a bug with GOG version, only workaround at this moment is to revert to 2.1.0h
