On one hand, oh god yes. On the other, who could do them justice? Owlcat's busy making Pathfinder games for the foreseeable future.

Some beginner questions for the galaxy brains in this thread:

1. I've resolved the troll problem. Now I seem to have this huge amount of time before the ancient curse thing happens again. I got a letter inviting me to Varnhold but their guards insist on escorting me to their capital city in which there is nothing to do. I'm doing kingdom level bits and pieces as they are available and otherwise exploring around the Northern Narlmarshes or doing companion quests. Is that about the best thing I can do at this point? I have turned Kingdom management down to "Effortless" as I am only interested in it for RP purposes.

2. The Tiefling Kineticist/s. She seems pretty powerful but the AI for her is really rubbish and just spams her limited use skills on the first mobs it finds. Then it inappropriately uses her regen thing. Consequently she has to have her AI off which makes her a bit of a bore against trash mobs. Thoughts?

3. What is the right clicking thing for spells/abilities? Some kind of task queue?

4. I like Jubilost as a character but his build is tricky to play. He seems to be very dependant on his bombs which do about as much damage to me as to enemies. How do people play him in practice?
1. There's nothing more to do in Varnhold at the moment other than talk to Varn for a bit. The extra time at the end of each chapter is meant to be used to finish side quests, explore areas and build up your kingdom. Your kingdom is important for the artisans, who give you some of the best gear in the game. You have recruited Bokken by now, haven't you? Just be at your capital 2 weeks before the Bald Hilltop timer ends and all will be fine.

2. The tiefling sisters are the easiest characters to optimize, and so will probably be the strongest characters in a newbie's party. I've never played with AI on though, so I can't help you there.

3. It's autocast. Normally a character without orders will try autoattacking an enemy with the equipped weapon. If you've set something on autocast it'll overwrite this behavior and he'll spam whatever that was unless you give a specific order. It's great for unlimited things like wizard cantrips and zero-burn extra range kineticist blasts. If you have the move-action gather power on with your tieflings and right-click on the most powerful zero-burn ranged attack you can use, you'll be able to effectively ignore them for everything other than boss fights.

4. Git gud at targeting. This will help you with AoE attacks of all kinds. Get the Precise Bomb discovery at first opportunity. And his other major strength is buffing, after you get the Infusion discovery.

I couldn't even get into the fortress so I wasn't able to speak to Varn at all. Nevermind.

Yep, I've gotten Bokken and built his lab.

Come to think of it I'm not sure why I'm playing with AI on for a non-tank and christ on a bike how have I survived without autocast thus far. Thanks for that.

Guess I'll just do some more murderhobo cruising while I await the next development.

By that you mean moving back and forth and farming random encounters? If so, it's the second least productive use of your time, after pressing the button to skip days.

Rank shit up until they make you stop. It's what triggers everything else. This isn't an exploration game.

The Tiefling sisters' abilities have unlimited use. That's the whole point of the class.

Yeah, strength of Bombs is attacking Touch AC and high DCs for the specialty Bombs (which also do damage). Precise Bomb discovery stops them from hitting your own team but even then if you have Resist Fire up splash damage shouldn't be an issue.

Stop coming to this thread until you beat the game. And stop asking for advice. You're going to be sorry.
Stop telling newbies to learn things by themselves. This is how you get bad habits, filtered plebs and InEffect worshipers. You might find it hard to believe, but some of us are actually happy to help.

It's a big game. They'll forget before they get back there anyway. We're just planting seeds.

That is a risk everyone browsing the internet takes. For how long after a game's release should we be wary of posting spoilers? One year? Two? Ten? It is ridiculous to ask people to police themselves lest an innocent newbie's virgin eyes fall upon disgusting spoilers for a game that's not anywhere near brand new.

I'm not telling anyone to police themselves. I just think it's a good idea to not go into these threads until you beat the game.

So what do you recommend for people who want help?

Honestly? If you don't want spoilers, I'd say a different site.
You do realize you're THE ONLY ONE who started complaining about spoilers, don't you? You seem awfully similar to those "think of the children" types.

And you're the only one butthurt about it. What's your actual problem? Did you scratch your dick on the crusty hole in your anime pillow?

You're seriously so stuck up in your own ass you can't see the problem with telling off newbies "for their own good"? When I've already explained it? You're a special kind of retard, aren't you? Here, I'll quote myself:

Do you need me to use simpler words, perhaps?

I am ranking the various bits of the kingdom up as those events become available. When there aren't any kingdom level events to do I walk around the North Narlmarshes/etc visiting areas I haven't been to before.

As an aside, lads, please chill out. I just play P:K as a casual game to kill time while my son is sleeping. I mute the in game music and put a bit of my own (classical) music on in the background. I can't say I care (too much) about spoilers and I'm also not looking to metagame it. There are certain phases in your life when you just want a game that can always be paused and this is a good one of those.

We are in fact chill.

People play the game backwards and cause themselves unnecessary grief. Don’t do that.
