Yeah that is an area i mentioned before,it is pretty fucked up. Still the bug made the battle harder and more interesting tho.

I see. I'm wondering what is up there though.

this game is just a couple hotfixes away from perfection right?

Just a few microissues left!
Most likely a big spider boss and some loot.

Well, yes, it was a final piece of the puzzle for me:
- we know from discord server that the game was released early due to pressure from the publisher.
- physical copies were supposed to be shipped shortly before release but were delayed for a month.
- and now community managers on steam are suspiciously silent about missing city progression.

We are most likely not waiting for just bug fixes, we are waiting for them to patch in the rest of the game.
Honestly, as much as this may be tongue-in-cheek, I think it's not far off. I'm starting to genuinely suspect that the game simply wasn't done, and that they scrambled to just get it into a somewhat playable state with a beginning and a middle and an ending. We should probably on one level or another be happy that they seem to have taken a very "wide" approach to the game design and the implementation of the various elements, instead of having certain areas just missing or jumping straight to the end, as is common when games cannot be finished properly.

At least this way they can fix stuff later. That wouldn't be possible if the game just cut off at some point and jumped to the ending, because it would involve altering pretty fundamental parts of the narrative.

That said, I shouldn't say too much, given that I haven't played too much, and for all I know the end of the game is precisely this, with no content, bugged or otherwise, but I'm choosing to stay fabulously optimistic. In three month's time, the game will be in a fundamentally playable state, icons updated and design elements tightened up, and then they will release a range of DLC:s with fully integrated new CNPC:s, new regions, and a major subplot for each chapter, with new areas and NPC:s.

...please?

The content is there, but it is bugged content.
Exactly. At least this gives them a possibly much-needed excuse to actually patch things, and for all we know the October 22+ "Major Patch" will effectively be a kind of content patch, or what would've been considered a major version/edition during active development (which seems to have ceased only from a technical perspective; if anything, they seem to be in indefinite crunch-mode, and if the company wasn't saturated by faggots I'd feel sorry for them).

I'm probably being unrealistically optimistic here, but I can dream.

So which alignment is the most munchkin?

So far I'm thinking lawful evil, since it gives buildings that give a total of +3 to resolving problems, which seems incredibly strong, since one 'raise' on a problem roll is equivalent to more than one buildings worth of stats.

What do Blight Druids even get? When looking at it, it seems like they trade in their animal and some other shit in order to be able to pick two rather bad domains (sadly, most domains are pretty shit, it seems).

It just seems like a terrible trade-off, really, since a regular Druid already can trade in their animal for Domains.

Miasma (Ex)
Starting at 5th level, if a blight druid is adjacent to a creature at the beginning of its turn, the creature must succeed at a Fortitude save with a DC of 10 + 1/2 the druid’s level + the druid’s Wisdom modifier or become sickened for 1 round. A creature of the animal, fey, or plant type that fails its save is nauseated for 1 round and sickened for 1 minute thereafter. If the creature makes its save, it is immune to this effect for 24 hours, as are creatures immune to disease.

Plaguebearer (Su)
Starting at 13th level, any creature that strikes a blight druid with a touch attack, unarmed strike, or natural weapon must succeed at a Fortitude save with a DC of 10 + 1/2 the druid’s level + the druid’s Wisdom modifier or contract a disease, as the contagion spell. If the creature makes its save, it is immune to this effect for 24 hours.

these are the main two things. pretty good, but just nowhere near as good as an animal companion

Game deserves are 1/10 honestly. Least 2 4 and 6 out of 10 games were all playable from start to finish. This is the longest a crpg I can recall that has been unplayable from release.

Destruction domain has Disintegrate and 95% of druid crowd control spells are Transmutation, so there's that. Although you won't be able to spam it I guess.

I did the same - I went straight to the hold after saving Bartholomew's ass, and then I went back after resolving it all, taking the whip with me (also, I think it's complete bullshit you can't tell Octavia that no, we've agreed to take that whip to Bartholomew, instead it's like "give it to me").

I don't remember anything about a journal update, though. I can't find it noted in my quest journal at all, and Bartholomew is just gone. And I'm Neutral Good, so it has nothing to do with alignment.

I just finished the troll's lair, so I am reloading and trying to see if I can trigger it correctly.

I would say neutral evil, you get all the benefits of both neutral and evil options, both of which are great, and you can balance chaotic and lawful choices fairly easily, as opposed to being dragged one way by 2/3rds of all choices you can make.

Miasma is a liability as written (but I'm not sure it's implemented that way), and only useful if you're likely to go into melee, and Plaguebearer is only remotely useful vs. a small subset of enemies in a situation that most druids should not find itself.

Also, from a conceptual and narrative perspective, I find it ridiculous that a Blight Druid would have powers that would primarily be useful (if at all) if the druid is going into melee, likely focusing on Wild Shape. It just doesn't jive with my idea of a Blight Druid, who I'd expect to be a lot more about the blighting of nature and the animals therein, suggesting (to me) someone that is primarily a spellcaster or "wise"/priestly type of character, not the RAAAARGH I'M A FUCKING BEAR type of feral druid.

They really should get something else, like maybe some sickening or nauseating metamagic, and/or straight-up bonuses (especially vs. saves and resistances) when dealing with plants, animals, fey or magical beasts. Or something.

Good effects, but the DC seems too low to trigger reliably. At level 10 the dc is likely to be 20, so you'll probably have what 50% chance of affecting enemy 1 round, 25% two rounds and so on?

Choices = larp, which is the opposite of munchkin (also even as lawful even you can pick plenty of other options and not have issues holding your alignment as long as you pick correct flavor text once in a while)

Yes, it is intended to visually change from town to city.
If doesn't happen in your game, can you, please, send us the logs and save game with a short description in the subject to this e-mail address
It says something that my first thought on seeing that was not 'I'll stop playing and wait for that to be brought in' but rather 'I'll keep playing and can restart to see it later'.
