Look, you never know. There's many games where a description like that is just a relic from a vendor they didn't have time to put in, or just a misleading attempt at flavor text.

Am I supposed to hold onto those ancient coins and shit, the stuff where it says "a collector might pay for this" or "someone interested in antiquities might pay for this"? Or is it just meant as flavor and I can vendor it?
I'm even hold animal pelts because it says merchant OR craftsman need it.:negative:

you zionist scoundrel

Nah those are actually vendor trash. Which is sad because crafting a suit of armor out of some of them would have been super cool. Who can boast he is wearing a shirt out of Enraged Enlarged Ferocious Flying Dweomer Owlbear?

I did it at 7, just spam all the summons you have, communal fire resist and pew pew. Need cold iron though.

I spammed Fire Resist (and healing) on Valerie, made sure everyone else was too far away to get hit, spammed Magic Missile/Empowered Magic Missile with my Sorc main, Reg and Octavia and when the fucker finally went down, Reg just finished it off with a Cold Iron longsword, also at lvl 7-8. Reminded me of the Dragon fights in BG 2 where I would also kite dragons and spam them with Magic Missile to death (after taking down their Magic Resistance, that is). :incline:

Level 9:
- Enter a random cave in some boring generic location. Oh, look. Bones. How scary. What's inside? Another Owl-bear? Heh-heh-he-...

latest

- *Leaves the cave.*

Level 10:
- Nok-Nok kills it with STR drain and I have a motherfuckin' magical TOP HAT.

One level makes a world of difference.

Did Vordekai's tomb, and barbarian camp - have options to find Armag's tomb or do Betrayer's flight. I have to spend 90+ days on kingdom management stuff, is now a good time, or after I do one or both of the above?

Am in beginning of 12th month of 4711.

It's harder to kite when you have 4 melee characters in party. 5 if you count smilodon's pet Amiri.

I go to Oleg's, they tell me to follow the bandits. On the way, an old man tells me that Tartruffleo is in a tomb nearby. Okay, whatever- I go to the bandits and get an update, "Hell no, Tartuccle is probably long gone now!" Of course, not wanting to miss out, I reloaded and went to the tomb instead, thn chased after the gnome. I ended up in some forest where I tried to rest, but a spooky skull annihilated me, after a shambling mound annihilated me, which was right after some bandits with their necromancer annihilated me. Fortunately, I found some safety in the nearby kobold mines. Unfortunately they are full of spiders, which annihilate me.

Is it normal that you are meant to avoid like half the fights? Because the mines right now are like "Uh oh, there's murder skeletons in that corner, avoid. Oh, this corner? Gigantic centipedes, avoid. That corner? Massive spiders, maybe come back later."

Hopefully reaching level three will make us a little tougher. I wish we could rest but when I tried, I was interrupted while hunting three times in a row until the onslaught of lizards and wolves destroyed us completely.

Spiders are easy if you have a proper tank with 25+ AC, which is doable even at level 2-3. Since the AI is not the greatest, they will frequently ignore other characters if you send the tank in first. You can use Enlarge Person on someone with a 2-H weapon, that should give them enough of a range to avoid aggroing the spiders.

Of course, once you either get Ekun or buy yourself a Ranger/some other dedicated sharpshooter, things become even easier because the AI will generally ignore them and will prefer to keep pointlessly wailing against the tank.

Yes, I've been doing all that. It's still refreshing how much tactics are required even on Challenging/Normal difficulty, that's really nice. I wish I had bought the scroll of communal electricity resist at the trading post because now I can't kill this stupid wisp. And I wish my cleric could properly turn undead. Maybe I am just missing where I do it?

It's in abilities tab on top of hotbar

Challenging is a very high ramp up of difficulty. Like +50%. Normal is like D&D but a notch harder (basically like standard D&D but with a DM who is happy to kill you with his monsters slapped together from all the 12 bestiary templates - because he can).

The dwarf doesn't seem to have access to it? Maybe because of his domains? I don't know Pathfinder very well at all.

As soon as I sell my loot from these kobold caves I am making a few proper mercenaries. A rogue, a cleric. The two sword and shield bitches and the bard can stay.

There are some melee enemies who don't really care about your tank AC and will hit him anyway like it's puny wizard.

Not at such early levels. Armag comes to mind, he will land Crits for 100+ damage even if you have 6 gorillion AC, there's also that Magus in Pitax Palace that can use Dimension Strike to resolve all of his attacks as Melee Touch, effectively ignoring all armor, but such enemies are quite rare, in my experience.

And I wish my cleric could properly turn undead. Maybe I am just missing where I do it?

I don't think there is a Turning Undead ability in Pathfinder, the most you can do is channel Positive Energy to damage them if you're non-evil.

EDIT: Yeah, no mention of Turn Undead on the Wiki page: https://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/core-classes/cleric/

Shadenaut is much further than me. Vordekai's tomb is the end of chapter 4. Armag's tomb is the end of chapter 5.

Normally you should have time to develop after you finish a chapter but it looks like chapter 5 is triggered too soon and you will not have enough time to do your stuff.

Be careful once you trigger Armag's Tomb quest because that one is timed. If you don't find his tomb in time then your kingdom is destroyed.

I guess my advice is not to rush the main story and try to use the time as best as you can for exploring and development. Try to develop your kingdom only after you solved all your quests and shit but I cannot tell you when it's a good time to develop your kingdom because the pacing of the opportunities and projects is fucked up.

In other words: save often and see how much you can delay the main story quests.
