I'm playing the game rn and have horrible framerate when the area have a lot of fire on it, guess my PC isn't enough even thought i played Kingmaker just fine.. Oh the game is super fun outside that. No cleric yet so things are hard , but my blood kineticist and Lann are super strong. Mythic paths already look amazing. Can't say the same for Camellia tho Goes down quick as wet paper, just go to the Market Place
Frame rates in places like that are a common problem, I have a state of the art machine but still got huge FPS drops.
Camellia is suprisingly tanky if you build her properly. Much better than Seliah thanks to her spell.

I've played quite a lot of Pathfinder 1, and from my brief play of Pathfinder 2 (the DM grew so bored with it he bailed on us), my main issue with it is not that it's any less complex, it's that under the hood it has very little to do with Pathfinder 1. The new stuff sometimes work, sometimes it does not. But either way, the core that I care most about in Pathfinder, the connection to the old 3.5 system and the multitude of archetypes that can radically alter classes, that's all just gone. And that's why I hope the Russians keep going with Pathfinder 1. Also, fuck balance.
The whole game system is OGL, minus some names, and there's plenty of highly regarded 3rd party APs (Northlands Saga, Legendary Planet, ect. ect.). Paizo can be easily cut out, and it would allow adoption of some great third party mechanical stuff.
Can anyone playing the game confirm whether the portraits do change according to out mythic path? This was something mentioned early on, and I'd like to know whether Owlcat actually implemented the feature.
The portrait changes are either going to be filters or only have 1 end result for each path. You can't expect them to paint a ridiculous amount of versions of each portrait depending on Mythic path stage.

Especially considering that they could realize many more base portraits instead. Doesn't really matter: since, just like Kingmaker, this game will follow the general Pathfinder aesthetic, the art direction will inevitably suck.
One skeleton looks the same as any other. And the same goes for a locust swarm or a gold dragon. But I'd expect an angel, for example, to retain more of the original appearance.
I expect an M/F portrait dichotomy for the Mythics that can't be written off as sexually indistinct, like Angel, Demon or Devil. Doesn't matter when you're nothin' but bones or a shambling bag of bugs. Or a dragon, or an abstract manifestation of cosmic order.
IIRC I think they also said somewhere that the Azata won't have massive snake trunks in place of legs, which is unforgiveable.
Azata seems powerful, I was able to take some of its feats on level 4 mythic somehow and so were my companions (I reported it as a bug)
One gives haste during combat and 20% concealment
Another adds your mythic levels to attack/damage and forces a fort save on charge or some shit
There's a fast healing feat & a magic one which doesn't seem to work right now (single target spells target multiple)
Finished Chapter 1, stopping there, a couple spoiler-free notes..
-Game has a very good tutorial, when a companion or an enemy has X effect (Damage Reduction) for example brings up a paragraph explaining it and even suggest magic missile to counter it. (Happens for critical hits, non-stacking and stacked bonuses etc.). So new players can't complain about not knowing how to deal with stuff.
-Graphics are great, much improved over Kingmaker. (Especially Char Models)
-Writing styles are similar so far..
-Despite the sheer amount of complaining about the difficulty of Kingmaker, this game is still quite hard. Had to use tons of items to survive and there is a lot fights that could destroy noobs and surprise veteran players. (Difficulty is great because it's not just because of HighAC enemies like in Kingmaker, also notably better encounter design.)
There is a unique encounter aka the attack on the Defenders Tavern Inn that is wholly unique to RTWP, and could not be replicated with turn-based. I really hope Owlcat replicates more fights like this later in the game that can't be done in TB, so at least the RTWP mechanics won't be entirely wasted.
-Character Creation and building system are full autism, so have fun planning out your build for weeks (especially when you take the Mythic System into account.).
-Music is still fantastic
-Game is still in alpha, so many things are missing, (feats, classes, features etc.) so I expect a lot to be added and changes but the groundwork is there. Though the design philosophy is completely different than Kingmaker, so if you didn't like Kingmaker's design you will be glad they seem to have changed it for the most part and you will probably enjoy it more.
Atmosphere is great and dialogue helps reflect that. I don't know if this gets worse down the line, I can take the black paladin chick, okay fine. But the Paladin Lesbian Half-Orc Commander is really pushing it. I really hope it doesn't get any more gay than that.

Good, I prefer it over games like PoE, where they think that adding more adjectives to a sentence will get them a Pulitzer, when in reality all it does is just make it cringier.

Found an interview with Owlacts's Head Oleg with some interesting inclusions about MCA. According to video information, his contribution to the narrative part of the game was very significant. Not only a companion, it seems like Chris also developed some kind of main philosophical meaning of the game around which the whole plot revolves, how to place events on the map, he also read all the texts from owlcats narrative team and it seems like constantly edited the shit they wrote. I don't know how is writing right now in WotR, but if Chris is completely excluded it may not end well for the plot consistency.
Unfortunately, Oleg didn't mention anything related to MCA working on WotR, but hopefully, they are just quiet to avoid the wrath of the progressive society.
I think(hope) they are just keeping it shush. They are not confirming nor denying anything. Everyone but full-blown autists already forgot about the whole MCA deal.
You're underestomating the clout that SJW's and black погромщики has in the West right now, especially in the US. And because Owlcat Games are trying to sell to the Westerners (instead of trying to conquer Chinese market, for example) I'm sure they are afraid of any potential backlash.
On the other hand - may be after the elections the US will be thrown into chaos; then no one will care about MCA.

Exactly. No one's making a fuss about this right now because MCA hasn't made any headlines lately, but I guarantee the moment a project with MCA in it starts generating buzz in the media all these cockroaches will come out of the woodwork and start screeching. I can only hope the Russians will keep ignoring this pressure.
