Tristian's little betrayal monologue or those Lamashtu cultists' ravings
This is not the problem.

after tens of playthroughs
This is the problem. Get a life, strambo.

That stuff is annoying on any viewing after the first, don't need tens of playthroughs. Some stuff isn't worth watching even the first time.
Sure, mid game cutscenese are annoying, especially if unskippable.

Anyway, is it just me or did anyone else notice that the prologue/tutorial area got nerfed?
So for instance the mongrel brutes that were punching for 1d3+10 and murdering anyone they got close to weren't there when I was playing through the same area last night, and other areas had one mob instead of two. Was this a patch change where they nerfed it or is it maybe a difference between whether you accompany Lann vs. Wenduag?
I believe both games were on core difficulty, so I don't think that's the issue.

Not in my experience, not only were the brutes still there, there were two of them. And yes they hit like trucks. (Playing on Core)

Afaik if you pick Wenduag to accompany you the whole Maze is easier. I've never tried it myself though because I can't bring myself to bring her over my boy Lann.

This is correct, particularly the hosila fight.

Finally got my first romance lovetalk!

With Sosiel!

His quest and character is so half assed, imagine Anomen but gayer.

Some questions
1) How to open magic door during Kamelia quest on 2d floor? I tried dispel magic etc
2) Where is Storyteller in Chapter 2?

I also want to congratulate all of us, cause we will have to fight every army on the map.
Because you get from them powerful loot and you have no money. (at level 6 I wasted all of mine on one weapon from trader, and I have a total of 1 belt of +2 dex and one band +2 cha so far for whole party to wear in terms of stat enhancing equipment. that was more than 20k + I tried crafting items but they're bugged for me I think. no way I could afford 57k +3 acid sword.)

I highly recommend playing Haplo or two due to all the waves of enemies you have to deal with. Anything aoe and self sustainable is nice due to how game structures itself around making difficult to set up buffs all the time. On the other hand, I see no obvious problems with rest. You can return to tavern in 1st part and your warcamp moves together with you in 2d part. I generally try to rest to proc companion dialogue for the most part.
An alternative would be single class arcane caster, and, interestingly enough, I think spontaneous casters lose in this one due to perks that massively increase your spellbook. On level 6, SPERGIRL can cast 8 third level spells with a mythic perk. Sure, spontaneous caster can too, but they will be limited to their 1-3 spells. With so many spell slots, traditional casters can spam spells and carry some extra no problem. You may want all the dc/dmg feat of course but I feel like focusing on pure damag early game will just make you run out too quickly, while with extra spell slots you can easily support party non stop - don't forget to grab Extend rod.
The other meta option would be a single class combat Bard of your preference, because game does not give you one.

The clerics, heals, debuffs, support and various semi-support hybrids are all taken by the party anyway.

Well that's early game anyway. But we know from first game what early game can look like after they figure out all their difficult modes :M

Heads up: turn based mode is bugged at parts, in particular don't turn it on during fight with dwarf loving demoness.
Then again better just not turn it on ever, unless you want to stare at many, many cultists for many hours :shittydog:

1) You don't, afaik. Think it will be in during release, or maybe it's part of a later quest.
2) He's at
the dragon nest, you'll eventually get a quest to hunt the Dragon with a dwarf named Greybor. Although I think that's in Act 3.

Aw. If you had to use dispel there then, together with Shadow demon encounter game would win a lot of designer points from me.

Agreed, I tried using Dispel Magic on that door during the Alpha but it didn't work out. Nothing to do about it so far according to Discord.

Maybe if you get Dimension Door though...

In chapter 2 the only opportunity to talk with Storyteller is on the initial camp visit after you are appointed commander. There you can get 1 artifact that makes the game much much easier if you get the fargment on Ch1. After that he but off and only return in Ch 3 during Dragon Hunt quest.

Well then, we don't like our life easy :shittydog:

So you guys think Nenio being a fox already in C1 tavern is a bug or developers just did't think to make her ability to transform a plot point in any way?

Sooooo.... I cheated and modified the save file to give myself a few bard levels in order to cast Dimension Door and glitch through. Doesn't seem like the area is done, but there was a chest with some vendor trash, so I'm guessing it will be used in the future.

EDIT: Never mind, I noticed I failed a perception check. Let me give myself +30 real quick.

There's a secret door behind the Wardrobe hidden behind a DC 30 check, with more trash loot. This area is definetely WIP. I'm done fooling around for now.

Her race reveal is on her quest on Chapter 2. She ask you to get her to a ruin. There it will be revealed that she is Kitsune

Joke aside,if it was some dude made in to a wench by some weird magic,it would have been a decent wifu. Just think about it,removing the worst part of woman, the character, and putting a man's character in the usefulness of the female body.

She's not even a party member, just an NPC hanging around, afaik. This plot twist was straight from the adventure path, by the way.

And I see Trickster is even more of a clown show than I'd assumed and I'm probably gonna have to take Regill with me even in my Good playthroughs.

This time it's their lazinezs, the game simply doesn't have dedicated cutscene system that you could skip and return to gameply mode. Instead the game just takes control away from the player and plays some script while all gameplay system are still working. I can alredy say that this will create bugs because if you do something those scripts aren't prepared for the game will hardlock and you have to reload.

Unity + Russian devs coding with duct tape.

What could go wrong.
