It turns on DEX to AB too? Finesse doesn’t.
Naturlicht longsword is not a light weapon. So you need to waste 3 feats (focus finesse slashing) to make your life worse.

Stop torturing poor Daeran :deadhorse:

This isn’t for Daeran, he’ll probably go Rapier since I’m never using Cam. Daeran’s horse isn’t even alive yet.

This is for Angelfire Apostle build where I want to use Reduce Person. Reduce doesn’t really work with Medium Armor.

Odin grant me strength, that Vrock fight at Market Square was ridiculous. L9, 120HP, 10DR(Good), 5APR at +10AB, 7x Mirror Image if you don't win initiative, full party CC at DC21.

My party was L3 and I didn't rest after leveling my characters at the start of the chapter for efficient time management, so no L2 spells for Cammy.

Got extremely lucky on my ~6th attempt when combat opened with Ember hitting her Slumber (20% chance) and my Str Saint followed up with a 59 dmg crit (don't ask me how an x2 weapon deals 59 damage on a crit). Only pure luck kept Woljif from outright dying when he got hit with a combo. Even though I had gotten to this point very efficiently in terms of resources, my spells are basically all used up and key consumables like my only scroll of Bless Weapon are now gone. Had planned to do Daeran's mansion before resting, but not sure how conceivable that is.

At least I got the sick shield for Seelah.

The best part is that it's completely optional. I love how hard some of the non-mandatory fights are, and unlike Hosilla, I don't think the Vrock is overtuned.

Was out cold for a while didn't get to play anything for a week. :(
Restarted again, 8th run of ch.1 tiefling MC this time Dirge Bard, going for Trickster. Core diff, but with enemy number still set to standard (I'll git gud one day :negative:)
Best run yet, couldn't do tower in ch.1 before attack, otherwise owned Grey Garrison (power of good - inquisitors tanking while Seelah kicks ass and takes names)

Ch.2 I think the gargoyles got nerfed, was way easier that what I remember from the alpha. Lost Chapel next, then onward towards Drezen.

I'm keeping everyone on their base class this time, gotta learn how to play Lann's class eventually, I guess.

Biggest problem is what party to take with me. I'm going right now with Seelah, Regil, Sosiel, Lann and fox girl, so no witch, think I'll have to shuffle around a bit and take Cam or best girl Ember along. Regil is massive bro, though, would be sad to lose him. :(

Core ain’t a walk in the park for anyone, especially early.

Once Regill gets a real class it will probably be him or Seelah unless you make Seelah your Bard.

That Angelfire Apostle kit is pretty cool actually. One thing about Pathfinder I like much better than D&D is how they handle Paladins. This takes the cleric more in that direction.

Everything like that was stuck for a long time in P:K then I think they fixed it because Dispelling Strike finally started working. Was this in Beta that you noticed or P:K?

Sounds fucking awesome, I wish there were fights like that in Kingmaker.

yeah tested it now, still 11.
also you can click angelfire multiple times, but that's out of combat. probably a glitch with Quick actions.

Also shoutout to Desiderius for pointing out that you can buy a Heroism scroll by the mongrelwoman, it really makes the whole Shield Maze much easier.

I just gave Cam a Leopard with 35 AC and 20 Stealth to take all the heat off.

Can you put Cleasing Flames on Autocast for it to trigger after each spell?

What’s the DC?

BTW, PnP triggers only on Cure spells which I never cast. In Wrath it’s every spell, which is fine because it’s only 1d4 per level but should still be solid since it’s free (Swift Action). Was hoping Nimbus another effect centered on caster would go well with.

I mean 20 is better than 11. My Archon’s should be close to 30 by then.

Angel getting fired up:
Seelah Poet.jpg

There's going to be weird shit going on. Lots of weird shit.

Cold Iron Ammo.jpg

When you're grabbing your Heroism Scroll, pick up one of these too. Yes Ammo has been majorly nerfed in Wrath (once you use it it's gone) but you gotta do what you gotta do.

lvl2 tank.jpg

This is how you do Maze on Hard, or as I did Core with a lot less headaches.

Stealthy Leopard.jpg

Stealth him up, scout stuff out. Use him for Mobility checks.

Tactics.jpg

Charge him into danger then follow in with the team.

Court Poet Effect.jpg

This is the Court Poet Song. As you can imagine more important for Ember, Nenio, and Seelah, but Cleansing Flames uses CHR for Saves and even Lann is taking Menacing Combat Style for Freebooter.

Core Brute.jpg

Easiest fight here ever.

Leopard Trip.jpg

Not tripping much yet (that will change if I end up using Cam much longer) but already taking down casters.

Tanking Hand.jpg
Tanking Hand here, soon to go after the real deal.

People asking about Hosilla, here's one way to do it:
Hosilla Core Stats.jpg

I sent the Leopard to Wendy to tie her up while intending to tank Hosilla with Seelah with help from Smite. You can she she took the Barkskin potion.

Stunning Hosilla.jpg

Looks like Angel rushed in where fool's fear to tread after landing the Demoralize. Backed out and fired off a Greater Spell Focus powered Sonic Burst. I think if you use extend Rod you'll get 12 seconds instead of six but six was enough.

Stunned Hosilla.jpg

Stun is a great condition, and few things are immune. Sonic Burst is a really good spell.

Seelah tank Hosilla.jpg

Seelah's Crowd AC ability not working here, but still good enough. Contemplation didn't even boost Smite (probably messed up the order).

Killing Hosilla.jpg

Got cocky after the Stun and Quasits about ate me alive but finally get her down.

Hosilla on Core.jpg

Should have just Enlarged her and used a two-hander probably.

Smacking Lizard.jpg

Like this.

Tanking Core.jpg

Fights a lot easier when he's not burning down/poisoning your team.

Gresing Elementals.jpg

Skald gets to cast in Medium Armor.

Burst.jpg

Sound Burst doing work again. Have you read Purple Knife?

stunned.jpg
Probably going to be seeing a lot of this once we hit abundant casting.

It's fine, just leave her single-classed and take Passive Hexes and attack. Only tricky part is figuring out how to get DEX to damage. By level seven though any melee weapon will have Crusader's Edge on it and most foes are Demons.

I've got her on Drovier here so I can use her pet in maze.
