The HoMM part just adds nothing to the game at the moment.

It needs time limits, base building competing for resources and some more complexity.

They had them but took them out. Too much smarmy Uzbek CEO and Babushka Onlyfans and Cannibal chix and faggotry.

Not enough hiring Holic.

Related:

Surely they must add them back, otherwise there is no point to the system. Probably still unfinished.

Crusades lasted for hundreds of years why suddenly be on time limit ? Time limit only makes sense for individual tasks whose fail will hurt crusade but wont kill it.

The last one didn’t.

Well, I know that this another pointless comment, but anyway.

Time limits are gameplay. They press the player to save time, to rest less and to manage resources better. Corruption (at least as it is now in beta) is too weak comparing to hard 90 days limit in Chapter 1 or to imminent Bald Hilltop events in other chapters. Surely, to experience this part of gameplay in full the Kingdom Management should be enabled at least on easy.

If someone does not understand that it is not the problem of the game design.

Not just gameplay. It's how the ruleset is meant to be played. A good DM has a lot of tools in his hands to punish a rest-spamming party and force them to push on despite their dwindling resources. Time limits like in KM is just one such tool, and a pretty lenient one at that.

There is absolutely nothing wrong with time limits, especially ones that force you to make difficult decisions or punish you for being wasteful with your resources.

There is a similar time limit in C1, if you don't rest twice the inn isn't attacked.

if you are late to library, mages burn and you cannot recruit them for gray garrison
if you are late to estrod, inn attack is empowered.
these two are time limits.
inn not being attacked is more like "prestige" outcome

Am I the only one who thinks that the evil paths should be the easiest ones (not easy per se), the good paths more difficult, and the Trickster/Aeon/Legend paths (the "gimmicky" ones) ball-bustingly hard (since you're either trying to impose vague cosmic/philosophical concepts in the case of Trickster/Aeon or being just a regular mortal in case of Legend)?

Time limits are gameplay.
Disagree. If time limits were gameplay, then they would be included in the tutorial.

Imma make some statements that are gonna twist your panties:

1. On my first P:K playthrough, I beat each chapter with 1 month left in the tank, each time.
2. The difficulty settings come with warnings, not the tutorial.

This is not about the game(s) being punishing. It's about not allowing disrespectful people, to beat the game just because they bought it. It's about the developers asking to be respected as people. And there is nothing wrong with that.

I do agree on Legend should be the most difficult. but Evil or Good or Neutral should have no bearing on how difficult it is, it should be based on the logical connection between the Mythic Path and the overall setting. I mean I would argue Demon and Lich should have actually harder time in Crusade due to the fact that their image is less than stellar. Angel should be the easiest because it gives legitimacy to the Crusade. On the other hand Chapter 4, you being a demon in the demon world should have leverage while LG Angel should have less than flexible choice and have a harder time etc. Same cases with Aeon, Trickster. Maybe saving Stauthon will have an impact that he will bring major reinforcement that makes a major battle significantly easier while you need to face some adversaries other Mythic Paths aren't facing due to you wanting to fix some shit.

Honestly, regardless of difficulty, it would be nice to have all paths having significant uniqueness in content. As of now, all paths follow the same critical paths where your mythic powers govern some unique C&C (with some has decent impact narrative-wise) which the on work Mythic Quests are supposed to be, but they all feel very short currently. Will see on Beta 2 but I hope they expand on the unique contents.

Remember that rumour going around that one of Aeon's endings was him becoming king? It's better. Thanks to further data-mined dialogue we know now that an Aeon player just outright becomes the ruler of the retconned Dresen.

As to the difficulty - I agree, Legend should be the hardest but followed by Trickster/Aeon since their philosophies are very abstract and disconnected from "regular" mortals and their respective deities/afterlives. Take an Aeon's final goal - PEACE, and then take a long look at the region he is operating in.

Does demon still kind of suck?

Still heavily criticized in Discord I think. Considered to be mechanically the weaker of the paths, Demon Rage feels too restricting, doesn't have expected interaction with Bloodrager, etc. Narrative wise feels the least powerful as well.

trickster can fucking destroy camelia's life

Care to elaborate?

The lie about her being haunted by a spirit? You make it a reality, and make it really haunt her. The lie about her needing to perform rituals? Also come true. And, to say it mildly, it freaks her out.

Generally, in many ways, the Aeon and Trickster paths are surprisingly similar. Both bend and warp reality according to their whims.
I was bored and went looking for the source of your "leaks". And look what I found:

Nah, someone actually posted a data-mined conversation with a key. Basically, it's a conversation between an Aeon and someone else (can't remember the name) where he makes decrees concerning Dresen.

pics or gtfo

Go dig through the archives yourself. I have better things to do. It's also someone's machine translation from Russian, so good luck.
I haven't been in this cesspool for a year which means i can't give ratings, but i would just like to let you know that you're retarded.

Yes, after playing it, in my opinion it's the worst mythic so far in terms of gameplay and story. Gameplay wise it's weak, narrative wise it fails absolutely in terms of being a power fantasy or an underdog story. The only way to get out of the thumb from other demons is just to hit the button to rage constantly in dialogue, doing that for over 20+ hours wasn't riveting. Plus there is an infamous scene among testers where demons try to get the demon PC to mop up after an orgy, of course to get around that you have to rage. The plot is basic and as I said the gameplay is plain weak. Hopefully by the second build we will see some changes. In the end it's just bad from top to bottom, let's not forget it's the default evil route.

Also Trickster doesn't do that to
Camellia, haven't seen anything like that in the files and unless someone can provide a key it's bullshit. Also checked with someone who normally goes through the files, found nothing either. It is known that Camellia hates/ is terrified of an Aeon PC for obvious reasons.

Is the Angel any good? Narratively I mean.

Decent start with what’s really inside the Wardstone and what that says about them. I’ve got a couple Angel playthroughs on hold so will know more after next beta.
