So what'sthe consensus on TB vs rTWP for release?

There is no consensus neither here nor in the wider world. I think that without implementing the emulation of simultaneous time flow (at least with some interrupts) TB mode is a cheat. There are other people who have completely opposite opinion.

So use whatever you prefer and enjoy this wonderful game as it suits you most.

I find it's mostly cheating myself since it misses out on a lot of combos (Leading Strike can fire up to Twenty times per round in RTwP but only fires like that in TB on the opponents turn where you get AoOs) and the ability to interrupt casters with damage. If you have a lot of Swift actions TB makes them easier to manage but only because the RTwP queuing is wonky on Swifts.

Although I love TB in all games, i'm honestly not too hyped about TB in a game that seems made and designed for RTWP. I worry for all the trash fights.

Kingmaker 1 in RTwP felt surprisingly great and fun, and I vehemently hate RTwP, normally.

So yea

If TB is taking too long for trash fights then they're not trash fights. They're not going any faster in RTwP unless you're just reloading when things go wrong. If you're at the point where you've mastered those foes without expending resources it goes fast in either format.

I think I am going to roll a LEGEND "mythic path" I have always wanted to roll an ultra levelled character and while I am going to lose on some very powerful abilities I am sure beating the game is not going to be that difficult anyway. I always wanted to play a good Mystic Theurge and it seams to me a heightened level cap coupled with increased XP wins fills the holes on that prestige class. I am still thinking what I will do once get level 9 spells on both spell lists. Maybe I will splash in some Sneak dice there to follow with Arcane Trickster, another favourite class of mine, but that does seam like trying to do too many different things with a single character.

For a second play through I am leaning on rolling an evil wizard with Lich Mythic Path. An old guy who goes into lichdom for life all eternal, probably Urganthoa(*) follower....

Last time I heard, Legend was unable to go past caster level 20. You could go Sorcerer 20/Oracle 20 rather than MT to avoid gimping yourself on caster level in your first class, or go Sorc 10/MT 10/Oracle 10/Vivi 10. The only thing Arcane Trickster would give you is ranged legerdemain and surprise spells.

Honestly, at first glance Legend looks best for Melee or 3/4 BAB characters to get multiple capstone abilities rather than pure casters. Its apparently limited to 4 attacks total, but apparently they can reach +40/+35/+30/+25.

Order abilities don't show up until you choose the Order (similar to Sorc not showing Bloodline stuff). Easy mistake to make.

He's not wrong, he's just not right enough. Reality isn't pretty and the best fantasy is BASED in reality. There were people who thought A Modest Proposal was written in earnest as well, and others who thought it sounded like a smashing idea.

On a related note, there's no such thing as bad publicity so hopefully the haters keep hating.

I started fapping for the release and gather imaginary party setups, so I'm also trying to list stackable bonuses for melee. Here's what I remember from Kingmaker and a few new bits from the wiki:

Freebooter : +5 from freebooter's bane (move action) , +2 when flanking from freeboter's bond (standard action). Dipping only 5 levels gives you +2 from bane and still +2 from bond.

Bard/Sensei/Martyr : +4 morale bonus from Inspire Competence. Dipping only 5 levels still gives you +2, along with mirror image if bard

Cleric : Community domain is incredible , but I don't think any of the npc's can pick it. Good domain's bonus lasts just for 1 round. All are sacred bonuses

Judge : This inquisitor subclass can share its +5 sacred bonus to attacks, AC and saves with the entire party (+2 at L5, +3 at 10 etc) , along with partywide ignore concealment at lvl12. If the base class wasn't so shitty, this too would've been icredible.

Paladin : Mark of justice (lvl11) gives paladin's Charisma bonus to attack rolls as sacred bonus. Too bad its too deep to dip.

Rogue : 4 level dip to get debilitating strike (-2 to enemy AC). Gives a lot of goodies aswell (dex to attacks and damage, various kit abilities etc).

So what else do we have?

There is something that I not even planned on my last playthrough that is very interesting. I have a barb/freebooter with reckless stance and inspire ferocity, and also a skald that got all the beast totems, lethal stance, deadly accurary and lethal accuracy. Yes, this stacks.

So all my melee character have pounce, reckless stance and lethal stance at the same time plus the crit buffs.

Relationship in kingmaker or in this game are very lackluster. The best in kingmaker is the tiefling chick which maintain the relationship with you in secret. However, all other aspects of Wrath seems amazing. Who cares if romance is awful?

oh but what kind of rogue pray tell? do you kno about new rowdy rogue, who is basically hit you with a table strength rogue? are u going for master of skills? and what fighter kit? is it aldori? two handed? are you going to ride a mount? and which one? what about assassin prestige, u need to be evil tho?? weapon? u r going to go for exotic mastery right? which one?
please answer all these questions within 20 mins i am going to test you on this later
