btw Desuman I think you spread confusion when you try to argue that RP builds are "superior". You can create competent RP builds but I think when most ppl think of RP they think of larping, not of "thinking out of the box" or playing classes that people think are shit but turn out to be ok; ie actively putting constraints on yourself. For example, I plan to play druid with a club. A reach weapon would obviously be better for druid who can enlarge, but I think neanderthal with club is funny, and even if there is a special, reach weapon for druids in game, that does +500 damage against FUCKING TECHNOCRACY and has naked wolf girls engraved on it I'd still keep the club to keep with the theme - that's the point of doing something in style. And in Wrath meta it still would be better to roll saint or alchemist or whatever - that is, if you want to have a boring game, and not actually play all the funny shit developers put in there 4 u to enjoy.

anyway, it doesn't even matter what's inside the egg at all. what matters is the process of opening the chocolate egg and wait of discover what there might have be.

There's a busted Club for sale in Drezen. You can literally make just about anything good if you avail yourself of the available resources. There are that many. Granted that Shillelagh is missing, so there's that. And Eldritch Archer is still mailed in. Strangely still very good tho.

And who's to blame for that? The people for defending themselves from a state that no longer represents their interests and acts as a dictatorship of the majority or the politruks in Kiev who don't give a shit about them, their culture or their political views? A frozen conflict is shit for all the sides involved, but the solution rests in reaching a fair settlement (whether large autonomy with a right to secession guaranteed if Ukraine joins EU and/or NATO or a federalization of the whole Ukraine which gives ample representation to the Russian minority so that it remains a neutral state unless both sides decide to swing the same way geopolitically).

I mean boring things like armored battlemage and devilbane priest. Filler stuff that is easy to do. Swap some code around - class done. Dragonheir scions, mutation warriors, hexcrafters. Meh, wasted slots. I guess MW works for roleplay if you want to make a witcher but still, they just paste exiting class features to produce mediocre hybrids. Can achieve similar results with multi, maybe even better. I just explored a lot of archetypes in source and there were options that were much more interesting. I would swap devilbane for undead lord any day. Whatever, no point in discussing it, it is done.

And recycle/keep things cheap was basically a design choice from the start

Can it be done without sacrificing other features? Some archetypes are incredibly bulky and large, mechanically heavy. Some differ from their parent classes more than some classes do. We need to make the archetypes, fix bugs in them afterward if there will be some (and there will be). Sadly this means that some of the most “expensive” (measuring development time) archetypes have fewer chances to be implemented than others.

There's no point in discussing it because in general you're wrong. The exact classes you've mentioned here have the most subtle but meaningful edges for what you're trying to do in this setting.

Well except for Mutation Warrior which is just stupid along with Primalist Bloodrager. But in general they really hit it out of the park on the subclasses, but I guess most credit on that goes to Paizo.

You trade one Domain with Diminished Casting (like Sword Saint and Crusader) for Heavy Armor Proficiency, Knowledge (Arcana) per lvl/2, and Two Feats (either TW or Spell Pen)

The game has some great Heavy Armor but only two companions (both Lawlful) who can wear it (technically three, but she's ranged - can eventually end up in melee range but not from beginning) and being able to go balls out STR is a good benefit for a Cleric who wants to fight and they definitely have the tools to do so effectively in Wrath. Sos is dominant and he comes with three Feats more or less blown on Med Armor Focus, Selective and Extra Channeling. You're a net five Feats ahead of Sosiel to build things however you want. You'll always want Outflank and if you're casting at all - even a Prayer before bashing - you want the Spell Pen Feats.

The most subtle but valuable is the Arcana. With all those extra Feats you can pick up Scroll Scribing and leave Nenio home and you don't start with a Bard so Bardic Knowledge isn't a thing. During Beta all stats have been visible but that won't be the case on release and this thing ticks up to +10. You're always on the lookout for these passive skills bonuses, they're really good. Also the check for harvesting reagents and some important plot points.

Last playthrough before release is an Azata Master of All (half-elf obviously), with some splashes because I just can't help myself (currently 1 lvl of bloodrager because celestial bloodline's lvl 1 ability is kind of a no-brainer... may add a handful of fighter levels too for a bit of weapon training/armour mastery, but not sure yet). Keeping the companions all pure except for Woljif who I'm giving some vivi levels for infusions.

Keeping the stupid arsonists from burning down buildings in the grey garrison defense is weirdly difficult in TB mode, especially when RNG keeps giving them 9 dmg hits. Luckily, having both the forge and tavern "die" didn't seem to do a thing or impact the xp/item rewards.

Enjoying this playthrough more than my 2-hander front line guy. Will probably stick with it for the first playthrough of release.

Sos is so good because of his Swift Domain abilities so if you like that action economy base Clerk is better. Swift actions are harder to use in RTwP so if you’re more inclined to beat face with a Great Sword or put together a Shield Wall phalanx with Seelah Devilbane is probably better, especially if you want to Scribe Divine scrolls.

I like it better than Crusader I think unless you want to Shield Bash. It’s close. You can just take Abundant then use the bonus Feats for Spell Pen and set yourself up for casting the Angel Superfear cone and other Necro spells I guess.

But why a sage sorcerer instead of an arcanist or exploiter wizard...You want that juicy metamagic.

Lich is INT based. If you can merge than you add the Angel/Cleric spells into your normal spellbook. Ie they become <your casting stat based>. Angels are WIS based. A CHA Oracle who merges their spellbook with Angels gains an Oracle (CHA based) spellbook with Angel spells. You can also be an Arcane Sorcerer (CHA) merging with Lich and getting all the goodies.
