I'm very into cock and ball torture
I had a similar issue too. I also had awful frame rates. So I ended up buying a whole new computer.....

For some reason, the game makes me feel like an "expansion pack" and not a DLC. Still, the "homm" mode is still the most curious part. (At least for me)

Not a bad thing. An expansion could be just the thing to perfect the formula that was Kingmaker.

As is for most of us, especially those of us that are uncultured proles that've never touched a HoMM game in their lives.

Hope the alpha gets updated. I STILL can't fucking play the thing without debilitating crashes all the time.... no help on forums either.

halp!
I haven't had much trouble with it crashing, more with getting the thing to fire up in the first place. Usually takes 2-3 tries. I need some crafting components to upgrade my PC though.

On the plus side it does help noobs learn not to try to spam Grease and Web the whole game and actually use their more powerful high level spells.

I don’t use them much even with the mod because it’s such a pain to stay out of the area of effect.

I love those spells, though my current favorite is Ice Slick though thanks to tight AoE.

Slow is enemies only and does more. Kin Water Wild Talent Slick is nice because it's just instantaneous.

All the Pit spells are progressively advanced Grease spells as well.

I know how awsome Slow is. Enjoying a spell is different from judging the best spells. I just like Ice Slick.

It's Time to Vote for the Best New Playable Race

Greetings Pathfinders!

When it comes to character creation, there’s no such thing as too many options. We know just how much many of you love the character creation process, and how important it is to make your beloved character in every detail, bring them to life, and fully embody them throughout the whole adventure. So it is only natural that you’ve all been eagerly awaiting the poll to decide the new playable race, which we announced some time ago as one of our Kickstarter campaign stretch goals.

Finally, the time has come to choose your candidate for a new in-game playable race! Who will it be? Catfolk, Kitsune, or maybe Ratfolk? Let the showdown begin!

Starting from now, each backer can participate in the special poll and vote for the new playable race that they think best suits our next game. The slacker backers also get to vote, so if you missed the Kickstarter campaign, you can still participate in the poll if you support us on the backer portal:https://wrath.owlcatgames.com/preorder. The voting will last for a month, until the 30th of June, and take place in a special section of the forum: https://forum.owlcatgames.com/t/pathfinder-wrath-of-the-righteous-vote-for-the-playable-race/20295

To get access to the poll as a backer, you will need to follow these steps:
  1. Confirm your pledge on the backer portal: https://wrath.owlcatgames.com/preorder/profile. If you haven’t transferred your pledge yet, we’d like to remind you that you can do that only by following your personal link that we sent you in an email with the subject “Backer portal is now live!” from media@owlcatgames.com on April 24.
  2. If you can’t find that email, please first check your spam folder and any other folders. Gmail users may find the email in their Promotions tab.
  3. If you still can’t find the email, please contact us via Kickstarter private message or send us an email at team@owlcatgames.com, we will give you the link manually.
  4. After confirming your pledge, enter your forum name in the special field:

  1. If you are not registered on our forum yet, you can do it here: https://forum.owlcatgames.com/.
  2. After entering your forum name on the backer portal, you will receive a badge corresponding to your pledge. There are three types of special forum badges for Wrath of the Righteous backers: squire, knight, and commander. Each of them grants access to the voting.
  3. After you get the badge, follow the link: https://forum.owlcatgames.com/t/pathfinder-wrath-of-the-righteous-vote-for-the-playable-race/20295
  4. If anything goes wrong, please don’t hesitate to contact us directly at team@owlcatgames.com. Remember that contacting us directly is always more effective than writing a public comment. We are carefully checking all the private messages and emails we get, but a public comment on one of our social platforms can accidentally slip past unnoticed.
Don’t forget, you can always discuss the poll on our Discord server or any other social platform! To encourage a lively debate, we’ve added three new Discord emotes for you—one for each candidate.

Go wild! Let everyone know why your candidate is the best.

To arms!

I like cats IRL.
I do not like weeb catgirls nor furfags so I will not be voting for catpeople.
Ratfolk are the least furfaggy race so I will be voting for them. Also I liked the Redwall books as a youngster.

I reasoned this way as well and as such feel obligated to vote rats.

Also I'm reminded of this:

3. Rats are diseased
4. Foxes are weeb shit
5. Felines can kill rats and Foxes.

Mounted combat means you can be a rat who rides a cat into battle, taking a creature who wants to destroy and consume you and bending them to your will.
Cats and foxes can't compete with that kind of chad RP potential. :obviously:

Catfolk are disgusting. They can make for an interesting race, but it never happens because furries are degenerates and feel the urge to ruin everything. The superior cat-like race is the Tibbit (from the Dragon Magazine Compendium): it's a human that can turn into a cat, no weird mixed shit. Their illustration in the handbook is also far superior to anything ever done catfolk-wise:
