Where's the post game DLC you fucking faggowls?
At this point I just want a huge dungeon that lets me pick any of the Mythics without needing to jump through 1000 hoops and only using some of them for last 1/5 of the game

Disagree, lot of the fun I had was in the reactivity on the mythic you pick.
This is why chapter V generaly sucks unless you are an angel.

Agree on the reactivity. Does ch. 5 suck for other paths? I was going Trickster to Legend so don't remember much.

Started a game on hard and am having a pretty good time. Just hit level 6 in the Grey Garrison.

I recruited two mercs and they've increased my enjoyment of the game mostly for RP / thematic reasons; having companions who feel like real crusaders and not Sunday morning cartoon characters is great (Seelah, Nenio, Camellia, and to some extent Ember and Woljif).

This is the party I'm using:

MC Aasimar Paladin w/ longsword + shield. Trained UMD and have Nenio writing scrolls of shield so he can go 2 handed for long durations with a +4 shield bonus and using other personal buffs from scrolls.
1st merc Human Slayer (deliverer) dual wielding 1h weapon and shield
2nd merc Human Inquisitor (sanctified slayer) with a glaive for now

Bubble Tweaks mod adds stats page to characters. Lann is, unsurprisingly, doing the most damage.

I also finished Through the Ashes and it was a fun little romp, not super exciting and I had far more "resources" (ropes, tools, etc.) than I needed. Overall, not terrible. Low level play is fun, but it was too short to really have a meaningful sense of progression from 1-5.

Picked up Through the Ashes and reasonably ok so far I guess but they're still stuck on the idea that the Bombs you find/make are any good for anything, let alone Swarms. I just don't get it. My Hunter's Snowballs were good after hitting lvl 2.

And of course Sorc companion burned a spell pick on Magic Missile even though the Bloodline gives it Magic Missile at the next level. Why? And burned a Feat on Combat Casting when there's no reason to be in melee.

There are interactive objects that put oil on the ground which can be lit with alchemist’s fire and actually do decent damage to anything passing through it / standing on it. I only ever used it once (in the second to last area), but that’s more than I’ve used alchemist fire in the base game.

Holy water can also be pretty effective at lower levels.

Is Archeologist whip-tripper (aka The Indiana Jones-build) even viable in this game? I would think things quickly outscaled it

I usually never play rogues but I've played a ton of Archaeologist in P&P and I must admit I love it. Being a skill monkey who can actually contribute to combat without sneak attack can be tons of fun with a build as versatile as archae-boy

I did that with the Centipede, but only found one situation where that worked. I think you're supposed to use Acid Flasks on the Spider Swarms but it brings back nightmares of that first P:K quest. 1d6 and they even miss a good bit. Meanwhile Swarm is eating your team and they just added First Aid Kits to Treat Affliction. Makes me want to run Kinnie but Leopard just too good.

The dragon should not be an outsider, so no extra damage.

Obviously, I just stated the result of other test that i did not post here. So what I'm saying is against an outsider, crusader edged does not add extra damage to all natural attack you got once polymorphed, but you do get the check for nauseated. It's bugged.

FUCK!! I finally got to screen where I can choose Legend and I choose it and press Complete and it just returns back to that same screen and it does not want to continue...

Yeah it's clunky but that's just starting the quest I think. I remember having that first time I did it. You have to go back to five or six places and fight bosses to become Legend.

Reload fixes that bug I think.
I tried closing the game and starting it again and loaded the last save just before you beat Demons in Drezen and Iomedae comes and always the same. It is just stuck on that screen. I can exit from that screen without completing anything and then game continues, they tell me that they are angry that I am no longer a Trickster and I get 10 crusade events and when I finally get control of my character everyone in my party has Mythic 8 abilities to pick but my guy has nothing. Not +4 to all stats or more levels ups..

I love this class as a concept, but in practice it's just so unappealing compared to even vanilla bard. The skill monkey aspect doesn't even work, because you're pretty much penalizing yourself by pumping int. Stuff like clever explorer sounds cool, but why would you make a perception specialist out of a char that will always dump wis. Plus, skills for mc matter way less in Wrath in general. If only they took away the useless trap sense and replaced it with some decent rogue shit, like free dex to dmg or limited sneak dice.

You don't get more levels or anything right after Drezen scene. Choice there just kickstarts the quest chain with new fights and dialogues where you'll need to revisit places and will lose your Mythic power gradually.

Speaking od the drezen scene, pretty sure having only one companion commenting on your choice is again a stupid bug caused by laziness.

dont they all state their opinions about mythic choice?
I don't think every companion has a line for every mythic path. I've never had the entire party comment at any rate, for me it was like 3 of them at most who had something to say at any given time. I suppose depending on party composition it's entirely possible that only one guy you brought along has a line.

They do all have a line, although there is some overlap between the azata lines and the trickster lines. I was bored and I went through the dialogue files to check all the companion dialogue some time ago. If some of them aren't triggering, it is definitely a bug.

Wait fuck, I mixed up the Drezen scenes (the one where you first choose a path and the one when Iomedae shows up). In the later one, every companion should in fact say something, that's true. For the first one though, I've never had that happen, don't think that's a bug in that case though.

yeah I was speaking about the one with iomadae. Idk if it's specific to golden dragon or is true to any mythic path, but only one random companion will comment instead of everyone.

Only discovered it because I forgot to ring the bell the first time.

Regill can currently get Travel Domain, but not Impossible Domain, even after he has his first Domain, so no Animals (probably why he doesn't get it).

Full BAB Animal Domain is Trickster only.

Druids can get Animal Domain, but don't get Impossible either.

The ability says only Clerics may take it, but Inquisitors and Divine Hunter can also take it, while Hellknight and Druid can't. Non-Reg HKs can't get a Domain at all, even if they take Godclaw Order.

This game is Calvinball.

Tested this myself and Godclaw HKs do get domains and they do work. Playing with Tabletop Tweaks, so maybe the modder fixed it? Armiger levels don't count towards it though.

p8rDHRM.png

Might make a Cavalier with Horse Master and Hellknight build.

Edit: Do HKs get access to Domain Zealot?
Edit2: It says that they should be able to in 1.2.0e patch notes.

I've checked the file with dialogues - yes, you are right, there is a ton of lines from companions that I never saw, with comments for all starting mythic paths, after you chose it the second time. Some of them seem to trigger properly, like Angel's and Golden Dragon's, but it confused me a lot recently, when I've chosen demon in chapter 5 and Seelah hadn't even noticed. Turned out she does have explanation in this scene, but something went wrong.

I've even reported the bug - not sure if they read my bug reports...

I have no clue how they are treating the bug report section.

Like you would expect them to classify them in order of importance, but we have pointless shit being fix in every patchnote when some class are still lacking their base mechanic.

As far as I can tell Armiger is a pointless class that has no synergy with Hellknights, except that you're supossed to take it lorewise I guess.

In both circumstances there should be a line for everyone, except for the companions who are not around the first time (Woljiff, Greybor). If you like I can go looking for them again and extract the specific dialogue lines in question so you can read them. In general there is a ton of companion dialogue in the game files which never plays in game as far as I can tell, it is definitely worth reading through there to see just how much stuff is actually bugged.

Must be because I was retraining off of an old save? Pretty sure I’ve gotten Zealot of Reg at some point for Inspiring Command (this is really good).

Game was never finished. And don’t blame the war this started showing up in Beta.

Armiger gets another skill point (which is a thing you can spend a Feat on) and better Bravery. The problem is that choosing the Order early does nothing.
