Doubt so. I just got there after going to every location and defeating almost all the demon armies. The game hasn't reacted in anyway to being slow.

I believe at that stage the only consequence is morale eventually detoriating (and of course corruption ticking at rests outside of safe zones, reduced by lore religion though so important to have that). Assaulting Drezen has mechanics to punish excessive resting, I think some kind of reward is also tied to how "fast" you clear the city from demons.

Remember that after finishing up the main quest in Drezen you will get a third flag on the morale system for the Crusaders. It's currently bugged for many where the Banner of Defense I believe it's called is automatically red despite no demon army assaulting your outposts. To solve this, do not kill the first demon army that is coming for your outpost that is right next to Drezen. Let it reach your outpost and put it on siege. This should "reset" the flag status bug and change it to yellow. Now go ahead and kill the demon army and get the flag to green status again.

Also, the bug with the banner of defense might be there even if you initially see it as green. The moment I skipped one day the bug appeared putting the flag at red so try this as well to check if you get the bug.

The queen gave me a cloak of resistance +4 and a ring of protection +3 for being quick (plusses on the items might be the other way around, I can't remember for sure), so I think it's just a case of you get more rewards.
But does your model change as a consequence of Hag Transformation?

No idea. It probably should, but who knows whether Owlcat could be bothered.

Ladies and gentlemen may I present to you The RPG 'this is fanfiction level writing, I could do better' Codex quest...

All in all the writing is worse than in Kingmaker but there are some awesome moments in it (the highs are high and the lows are complete shit), not counting calling Anevia unnatural and a freak when she does come out to the commander.

10/10 enjoyed the game, now fix the bugs Owlcat!

This is the most degenerate RPG medium I ever saw. And I bet anyone to show me an RPG more degenerate than this. Who is the MC (((crusading))) for, exactly? Well, the answer is right in front of you! strong feminist rulers, trannies, dykes, sodomites and general degenerates of every flavor and color. The entire game is a pure ball of autist filth, only something that a shut-in autistic tranny could come up and think this is "good and complex gameplay".

Welcome to Pathfinder.

This game is like crack. I played for at least 10 hours straight , fuck me. I want more. Oh.. I just got to the end of Act 1. In my run so far:
Wenduag using Throwing axe is completly dumb, if i can get a good throwing axe soon , this girl going to be Ekun 2.0 . Bloodrager primalist when actually hit shit, does some THICK damage numbers. Camellia is a beast of tank and Woljif has crazy DPS.
Everyother companion was fine.

Yep, I have to say I've been going to sleep at 4 AM two days in a row. This hasn't happened since the first time I played an IE game.

Worth full price?

Yes, if you like the Pathfinder mechanics or can live with them, like lots of combat derived from said system, don't particularly care about the writing and don't mind the occasional bug

It's big, has lots of content and despite its flaw, is fun to play

Yep, I've played it pretty much non stop over the weekend. Been neglecting the prep for my own pathfinder tabletop game I'm running shortly.

I do wonder how long this one is. I've got about 30 hours on steam and I've just started Chapter 3, which seems to be way bigger than the previous chapters.

Guess I'll probably clock close to 100 by completion.

They have to fix the HOMM part of the game and iron out quest breaking bugs so I can play this game. Also yes I am one of those insane people who care to play HOMM within a RPG and I thank the Russians for being so insane to actually implement that.

If all you phaggots can complain about are things that just reveal how much you suck then game must be pretty damn good indeed.

It's nice to know you found the one thing in life that makes you feel better than everybody else. I do wish Owlcat had produced a proper manual instead of a live version of clippit that haunts this forum.

EVDt9Ab.png

Better than everyone here is a low bar, but I didn’t even clear that. Shadenuat is better than me and Meredoth has already finished the game.

I feel like shit because I’m hanging out with a bunch of degenerate retards who want to whine and cry instead of using your brains and enjoying figuring things out.

Guess I shouldn’t be surprised when you project your resentments and neuroses on me since if you approach life like you approach this game you’d end up with a lot to resent.

Git gud.
? Everyone is learning the game including myself. We are bitching and complaining because it’s fun to post our problems and reactions to them, this wasn’t any different from the kingmaker thread. What are you talking about? I’m having a blast, played till midnight yesterday.

IMO yes. But it is just my opinion.

-------------------------------

I know that it can be seem as a small thing, but I loved that now you can scribe scrolls and brew potions. Is a feature which few games implements. It helped me a LOT in low levels. And is cool how you need to find ingredients to do that. And that after many rests scribing scrolls, you can use it to avoid rest scumming and corruption. Other game which allow you to learn how to make scrolls which I remember is the Gothic 2 - RETURNING and nwn2. Is a relative long quest. If you play as a specialist caster, you can write scrolls from your opposite schools and cast it without spending two spell slots. Which is amazing.

Sadly you can't inscribe scrolls from spells from your mythic path. I wish that OwlCat also adds a option to craft wands and wondrous items too.

I despite joking about dwarfs would love to see dwarves able to craft really powerful weapons and armor. If you look to mythology, most God tier weapons, like Mjölnir and Gungnir, was crafted by dwarves. In elder scrolls, dwarven machinery still works aeons after their disappearance.

Tell me about it, I completely lost a night's sleep between playing the game and pondering (via numerous cheat leveling experiments) the many options on how to build a Necromancer/Lich that goes with a portrait I've fallen in love with :)

By the time I noticed the time, it was dawn, the birds were chirping and I thought wtf, no point even trying to sleep now.

And I still haven't figured out my optimal Necromancer! :)

Shouldn't you be able to refuse to commit to all paths in order to unlock Legend? Kinda odd that you've got your first level into Trickster without realizing it.

No , not yet while it's a good powertrip there's still lot of bugs. Some encounters are also insane and completely unbalanced, you either roll over everything or you are stuck in a place with monsters with specific regen immune to most of your weapons, with no rest and no way to exit until you finished it.

It's currently pretty buggy, but also feels like a very good game in TB mode. The writing has some rough spots, but overall it's pretty functional. Slightly worse than kingmaker.

So I'd say yes it is worth full price, but if you have something else to play you might as well wait for a few patches and if that happens to coincide with a discount then all the better.
