Or just that Wiz that gets + 4 caster levels
He's obvious but not sustainable. Sorta like guarded hearth, yeah you get soon 2/day but not all day. Very me but I am trying to get out of the comfort zone.

What Oracle what do? I so far decided my angel girl to be Oracle.

I'm still trying to finish the defense on that tavern in Ch. 1 on Core difficulty and it's a bitch when aiming for all the defenses to be kept intact from those arsonists. Respecced 4 of my party members into ranged combat and I'm using grease on enemy chokepoints and it's still a bitch.

On core?

Three Grease + Marching Terror FTW. Ember spamming Slumber, Lann Pumping lead. If you hit Tower first you can hit level five beforehand.
I haven't recruited neither Ember (yet) nor Lann.
If you haven't got Lann, you presumably have another competent archer.
Ember is very helpful in that fight, not many enemies with good will saves (including the arsonists).
But yeah, Grease/Web, Glitterdust summons from Camellia and/or scrolls, prioritize arsonists obviously, and on Core it shouldn't be too bad.
It's a fun fight.

dont pick opposing school abjuration else you cant dismiss your own aoe effect spells
I laughed out loud. I thought dismiss was universal. hahahaha
Sadly no , and you cant dismiss spells from other casters using your party members either. So i advise against picking thasilonian wizard, you cant dismiss your spells, you get more spell slots, but by chapter 5 i am not even using half the stuff i have anymore. Just spamming hunger aspect trivialize everything, i can get like hundreds of skeleton minions as well using meta magic feats. Exsanguinate works on everything so quicken , empower, and those dont go int he two extra slots . So if i had to redo it, i just use either scroll wizard , or cruomancer.

Also wanted to say that 24 hour enduring-spell buffed muscle sorcerers seem pretty strong.

Unfortunately since going gold dragon path, not quite as strong as he was previously as I no longer get the +6 STR and +4 CON from frightful aspect which seems to be bugged. Not getting any size mods to attributes, actually as I checked with enlarge person, too.
It is likely the humanoid half-dragon form overrides other size bonus from other transmutation effect, i.e. it also counts as a polymorph. So no Legendary Proportion either. Does Master Shapeshifter works with it?

I had no idea what I was doing... even with a PC doing most of the thinking for me, I have found myself bamboozled more than a couple of times.

Even the character creation process, usually a piece of cake, left me feeling like I'd woken up with a major concussion

There are just a few too many numbers floating around for me to truly get lost in the story. I think it's the fights, actually.

This dweeb is really busting apart all the game journo stereotypes, huh?

There are some very interesting demon exclusive items by the way, especially in the late game. For example, there is a helmet of mental perfection +8 which adds your charisma bonus to your ranged attack rolls.

Demon exclusive a.i. you can't equip it unless you are on the Demon mythic path?

Neat, hopefully there's plenty of these for other paths as well.

You won't even get it unless you play demon. Its given as quest rewards for demon mythic quests.

Knowledge : Arcana trick triggers on relic upgrades. Notably, you can use it on Soulshear even if you don't upgrade it.

Insert Title Here Pathfinder: Wrath
This chorussina fight... Completely ridiculously difficult.
She becomes literally invincible unless you kill like 5 dudes before they can cast a spell, in a game where 'surprise round' means you only get a half action except for the person who initiated
Dimension Door all your team on top of her at the beginning of the fight, avoiding the trap. Each companion kills one enemy, done.
I don't have mass dimension door. Even if I did, the odds me winning initiative over all the enemies and killing each in a half turn with one character is fabulously optimistic. Especially when there's 8 cultists and 6 party members.

Guess I should have let them summon the demon.

Nenio Rainbow Pattern or Phantweb or Cam Stink or whatever but yeah just let the big guy give you the ring.

Hey, cool ! An amulet of Agile Fists ! I'll give it to Camellia, that should really boost her dam... FUCK !

Okay, fine. Woljif, you take it. Maybe it'll even combine with your otherwise useless Double Slice feat.

When you merge caster level becomes infinity so Dispel easier. Like Enduring + Cave Fangs.

This is a high rest setting. Gives you time to build up your forces and scribe spells and find stuff while trickily hunting. Hearth is unfortunately much better in Wrath - same with +4 guy.

If in need recruit some mercs. There are actually only 3 points of interest to defend, the most important the left entrance (looking from Irabeth perspective) grease and focus fire the Arsonsists.

It's basically only three waves and the battle ends when you beat the Minotaur.

I might just, Desiderius forgive me, play on a lower difficulty and up it on subsequent playthroughs. :M

From my experience this is an issue due to the low level of the chars, the difficulty gets lower, relatively speaking as soon as you have decent abilities to use. Otherwise though I do not think it shameful, in the least, if difficulty is lowered. Fun is always worth more than gamer cred.

You have to beat the Minotaur and all the Arsonists, I believe. I still had one Arsonist knocked out by Slumber after killing the Minotaur and the fight didn't end until he was gone.
