They really should add a test lab to the game, where you can check builds and items in the current game engine.
They are going to sell a rogue-like dungeon as one of the DLC. As Beneath the Stolen Lands was for Kingmaker.

I'm starting to think there might be no hope for you, smaug. Yes, not everything is perfectly viable on HARD MODE, what an unacceptable revelation!

Playing on Core, enough enemies in late chapter 3 have low enough Will saves that I'm still able to put them to sleep with Slumber. You also have many hexes that target your allies (Protective Luck and Fortune are the ones I'm using), so you don't have to care about the DC. Moreover, Evil Eye isn't the only Hex that still affects the enemy even on a successful save.

But I feel like I'm wasting my time here, since you seem completely unwilling to try and just want to whine about how hard the enemies are in this game (not surprising, since you're playing on HARD in a game based on a system that you don't seem very familiar with).
I’m playing on hard because core is too easy, you just auto attack stuff on core, that’s boring.
Then you either actively gimp yourself playing sub-optimal builds on Core or try to up your game to keep playing on Hard. If I can get to a DC of 31-33 without specializing in that school, there's no excuse for you to be stuck at 25: I'm sure there are enough tools to reach even higher numbers. But if you don't want to try different things to discover what works and what doesn't, then playing on Hard will probably be a miserable experience. And I don't see why you would want to willingly subject yourself to a miserable experience.

? I can buff my DC to 30 now that I know DC’s items stack, I never said otherwise. The tooltip is what threw me off.

Anyone who's done the Ivory Sanctum, did you get EXP from
Eternal Guardian, those ghost minatuars, it says they're worth 10exp but I got none.
?

Only the one inside the puzzle door and the negative trap with all the loot.

In Tabletop:
Arcane Apotheosis (Ex): At 20th level, your body surges with arcane power. You can add any metamagic feats that you know to your spells without increasing their casting time, although you must still expend higher-level spell slots. Whenever you use magic items that require charges, you can instead expend spell slots to power the item. For every three levels of spell slots that you expend, you consume one less charge when using a magic item that expends charges.
In Owlcat's:
Arcane Apotheosis (Ex): At 20th level you, uh, automatically pass concentration checks. Yes, those are real.

So the latest patch broke the Cleaner Mod and has completely tanked my performance. I've gone from 60 to 10-20 FPS during the siege of Drezen. Guess I'll put this aside for the moment and wait for a few more patches. Oh well. Really enjoying it so far, but I can wait.

The Cleaner mod has been updated, didn't you check the nexusmods?

No we must believe all smaugs. He doesn't give up. Understand NJClaw, if you want anyone to listen to what you say in internet, you need to repeat it for 2-5 years all the time. Every day. Every teacher knows this.

Protective Luck and fortune are buff hex that can be extended in your cackle routine. They are also insanely good for tough encounters. You can even pre buff protective luck on your frontline + cackle pre-fight right before you engage.

What's the reason for some spells to be failing when cast in Drezen during the assault?

Check your corruption level, maybe you got to level 1 and didn't notice.
I know you are used to dealing with morons asking questions but I am aware of the corruption effects and I don't have them. BTW I've only ever rested outside of a corruption free zone once.

Is it possible that you're suffering the effects of corruption?
No, I'm below even tier I in corruption.
Are you wearing any armor?

Is it possible that your character is affected by some kind of deafness (is deafness even implemented in the game)?

I didn't notice any spell failing so far, but maybe it's a new bug. Can you post a screenshot of the effects active on your character in the character sheet?
