Welcome to the club lol. I just decided to go with Glaive while wearing heavy armor hoping to find another mithril full plate (my boss Regill is wearing one). He can buff his own weapon and armor with Warpriest abilities and he gets to be almost immune to critical hits and elements of choice. Get him whatever can buff this attack bonus, that is his weakeness.Any tips on building Staunton Vhane? I don’t even understand what he is supposed to be. What even is his feats and class, please help
I wouldn't consider it cheating since if this was tabletop I'd just ReTrain the Rogue level into an AT level, plus the Accomplished Sneak Attacker feat into something more useful.Does it remove the necessary rogue dip? If yes, and you're going to respec to Arcane trickster retroactively, then I would call it cheating.
Unless you use a respec mod, you cannot game the system the way you intend to do it anyhow. They changed how respeccing works in 1 of the patches afaik so you can only allocate mythic levels once you have reached a specific character level. I don't think you would even be able to allocate the first trickster level before level 9 with the standard respec feature, it would require a mod.and reach the AT capstone at level 19. plus i like that the character would play more or less the same from the start, recovering a caster level when I reach Trickster's first mythic rank. plus I also plan to spec into Perception Trick 2, grab the metamagic feat, and respec out of it. because permanent see invisibility is kinda meh.You could just go 9 levels wizard then get the trickster's sneak attack dice at level 9, then take levels in AT.my decision is to respec from wizard-rogue-arcane trickster into wizard-arcane trickster via trickster's inherent sneak dice. thats pretty decisiony.Respec = Decline.
Simple as that. Stuck with your decisions.

I don’t understand his feat selection, like why the fuck does he have agile maneuvers?Welcome to the club lol. I do not know table top rules, and whether the DM is obliged to allow retrain. But cheating is OK as I mentioned earlier.I wouldn't consider it cheating since if this was tabletop I'd just ReTrain the Rogue level into an AT level, plus the Accomplished Sneak Attacker feat into something more useful.Does it remove the necessary rogue dip? Because his Dex is better than his Strength and they want to you to go Disarm or Sunder armor or Trip or something ?!I don’t understand his feat selection, like why the fuck does he have agile maneuvers?Welcome to the club lol. Last I checked, they changed it during the beta so that you *can* allocate Mythic Ranks before class levels. Are you saying they changed it back post release? They changed how respeccing works in 1 of the patches afaik so you can only allocate mythic levels once you have reached a specific character level.

I'm going to visit Blackwater later today or tomorrow and I swear to God if it's not as hard as everyone is saying I'm going to shit all over this entire thread. If those supposedly invincible enemies can go down with Grease, Glitterdust, or Shout I'm going on a destructive rampage here.
It was 1 of the more recent patches, I would not be able to point out exactly which 1 it is however, since I have not personally respecced my character in quite some time. I have been lurking in some twitch streams though and recently when they respecced their character, on each level up it offers an option between adding a class level and a mythic level, with the mythic level greyed out if you aren't a high enough class level.Unless you use a respec mod, you cannot game the system the way you intend to do it anyhow. In which patch did they change this?
Worked fine for me at release, go up to 8 Mythic then only lvl 2.
The latest (1.0.6d) or the one before the latest. Unconditional respeccing after Drezen was putting the game in a state where it cannot be finished on some branches. In which patch did they change this?
I have mythic spell penetration, plus the normal and greater one feats, magicians rings which adds 2DC for illusion spells and the mythic shadows that boosts it by 20% and the DC for nenio’s phantasmal web and killer are about 25, enemies have+18-20 normally to save. Both fail almost every time, I’m currently doing ivory sanctum. Of this is normal than fuck illusion is a worthless school.Excuse me, but what's your point? Sure, to have the best chance to land your spells you need to build your character in an appropriate way... isn't that expected from a combat-focused RPG, especially on higher difficulties? I've built Nenio as a Conjuration/Evocation specialist (with Greater Spell Focus and Expanded Arsenal) and, after the prologue, so far (I think I'm near the end of Chapter 3) I think I fought three enemies in total with high enough saves to actually resist her spells. Her Persistent Heightened Greases, Glitterdust, and Shouts have ridiculed every single boss and mini-boss so far.DC saves for enemies (I haven’t visited blackwater) have such high DC’s unless you’re focusing one school with proper dc gear you can’t do anything to enemies regardless. Then why the fuck is everyone complaining that it's impossible to hit the enemies when you can blind them, stun them, and get them prone? Do people expect to play this game without ever using a spell? You can do all of the above
Yea. This means they have a 75% chance of resisting. You'll want to go all in with Illusion. Having multiple school powers from Arcane/Sage Sorcerer and their arcana (+5 to DCs), being a Gnome or a Half Elf Sorcerer (+1 to Illusions, +2 to Charisma respectively), having the Arcanist/Exploite Wizard's +2 to DCs, Divination and Enchantment Wizard's -2 to enemy saves or mythic powers that boost DCs directly. That sort of thing. Wizards have a tough time beating saves without those powers or targetting the weakest enemy saves. And being an Illusionist means you'll always target Will. Nenio should have had School Focus Conjuration.and the DC for nenio’s phantasmal web and killer are about 25, enemies have+18-20 normally to save. Both fail almost every time
There's something wrong here... my Nenio isn't specced for illusion spells and yet her Phantasmal Web save is 31: 10 + 5 (spell level) + 9 (Intelligence) + 1 (spell focus) + 2 (Magician's Ring) + 2 (Quarterstaff of the War Mage) + 2 (Glass Amulet of Clarity). It can go up to 33 if I use Heighten Spell with a 7th level slot.I have mythic spell penetration, plus the normal and greater one feats, magicians rings which adds 2DC for illusion spells and the mythic shadows that boosts it by 20% and the DC for nenio’s phantasmal web and killer are about 25, enemies have+18-20 normally to save.
nois druid really that bad?
how dare youwhat dips to take?
so what archetype if any?nois druid really that bad?

I don’t any amulet of clarity and war mage staff doesn’t stack with magicians ring. DC is 26 (all the things I mentioned before) and as I said they have +18-20 on saves. I don’t know what crack your smoking but nenio is useless besides having greater heroism and being able to summon elementals for temporary damage sponges. On core enemies also normally don't have +20 to saves, so maybe turn down the difficulty. And even with a +20, with Evil Eye and Dirge of Doom, enemies will fail their save most of the times, especially if you add Persistent Spell.

the only way this can be solved is by desiderian screenshots of nenio's DCI don’t any amulet of clarity and war mage staff doesn’t stack with magicians ring.
