I had two subsequent failures on Nenio trying to cast Mirror Image during prebuffing. Nothing else failed. Prior to that I had already cast Blink. I admit I didn't read if Blink may be the cause for some reason for Mirror Image to not work. I've already passed that encounter so I'll have to reload a save to check again.

So the latest patch broke the Cleaner Mod and has completely tanked my performance. I've gone from 60 to 10-20 FPS during the siege of Drezen. Guess I'll put this aside for the moment and wait for a few more patches. Oh well. Really enjoying it so far, but I can wait.

The Cleaner mod has been updated, didn't you check the nexusmods?

With Blink you can fail your own spells in PnP.

The in-game description doesn't seem to say anything about it, though. I guess they thought that "Likewise, your own attacks have a 20% miss chance." was enough to infer that even your own buffs can fail.

This happened to me in sanctum despite not having armor or corruption.

What's the reason for some spells to be failing when cast in Drezen during the assault?

Is it possible that you're suffering the effects of corruption?

No, I'm below even tier I in corruption.

Are you wearing any armor?

Is it possible that your character is affected by some kind of deafness (is deafness even implemented in the game)?

I didn't notice any spell failing so far, but maybe it's a new bug. Can you post a screenshot of the effects active on your character in the character sheet?

I'm not sure what Spell Failure Chance of "50" means. Is this "20%" and if so, then "20%" of what?

Blink is only 20% of failure, no? In Kingmaker 50% was displacement.

Does someone know where the demon assassin Yozz is in Act 5, for the quest Conspiracy in Shadows. He said he would take me to the demon city but I wanted some time to prepare. He said he would wait in Drezen but I can't find him anywhere.

Started a new save and got to Ivory Sanctum. This time I encountered a different gamebreaking bug. For some reason the opening the puzzle door to Jerribeth's chamber opens the door and gives vision to the room, but you can't go there. And doing the puzzle again replays the door opening camera shift, but nothing happens. At least I did a manual save before going to the location so I didn't waste 12 fucking hours.

Also I'm not sure if it's a display bug or something else, but the game doesn't seem to list bonus from dragon style to damage. It allows it to toggle along with power attack, so I assume it should work.

You playing on older version? There are 2 bugs which could permanently fuck up that quest and only one of them was fixed. :D

He said he couldn't find an RPG that focuses on an example of a demon seeking redemption. Maybe that's true for CRPGs but there's a famous tabletop story about Lady Despina's Virtue that's about a succubus who wants to atone. They were playing AD&D, if I remember right.

I only lose battles mostly because you fight in tiny ass spaces and my pets always block everyone from entering and moving. Thankfully lich gets deny death,

Standard unless you play CotW. Smilo is OP and large pets are a pain so Leopard works well. Mad dog is kind of boring tho.

The opportunity cost of clogging up the battlefield with their pathfinding and the spell resources required to buff them on top of losing the other Domain you could have had are massive. By far your best pet experience will be limiting yourself to one per party, and from that perspective you want that one to be the best it can be. That's Okbo or Sacred Huntmaster in P:K, or Mad Dog if you enjoy Barb gameplay.

Hm, I use the latest version that GOG provides. But the quest seems bugged indeed. I have finished the companion quest with Greybor, just some minutes after I posted my question regarding Yozz. Which seems to have lead to a bug.

Try talking to Shamira in Alushinyrra (demon city) (in harem of ardent dreams in the middle city iirc). Maybe you can bypass Yozz and still progress the quest.

I have no way to travel there at the moment. The portal in Drezen is closed and I haven't discovered another way for now. But that sounds like a good idea, I'll keep my eyes open.
