My Camellia doesn't have Fencing Grace and I didn't get Keen. I use her more as a caster and keep only Paladindu and Spidergirl for melee.

Battle Spirit + Weapon Enchanting should probably be your first clue. You can use her for licking your ass if you want but don’t go complaining about RNG if you’re just determined to suck.

Angels being written to be genderless is fine, the problem is that
1) we know they're doing it with a tranny agenda
2) that's why they choose to have the angels talk about sex in a patronising way "it's meaningless to us but we will never look down on you!"

Could easily have the angels view sex as pretty integral to the mundane mortal existence, ie definitely not meaningless...

Even playing only the beta and only up to Chapter 2 I can tell that this is wrong. Unless you're going for Mythic shenanigans you need Fencing Grace for default class Camellia ASAP. And with her low mental stats she will have hard time beating enemy saves as a caster.

ngl Kenabres and Grey Garrison were fucking lit, I really really loved it. Can't believe it was made by the same people that created the snoozefest that was Kingmaker. I literally couldn't stop playing since downloading the game. Top encounter and level design, great item economy. If they can keep up the veriety and the level of encounter design for the rest of the game (30 hours in already) then I just don't know.

Yep as I feared, mid chapter 3 and I'm getting that "this is getting fucking tiresome" feeling again, now with the Crusader things. It's Kingmaker all over again with the 5000 loading screens that breaks the pace of the game. Of course the fucking buildings and cards had to be there too.

Is it too much to ask for a regular CRPG adventure without the damn janky mini games.

Damn, that first timed event came so fast (3 days LOL) after I had to rest forever to heal my negative stats, knowing owlcat not going to certain areas before that probably had consequences. I am probably gonna replay that first part and skip the shadow/undead area of the market this time that was completely pointless and cost me so much. I also definitely should have picked the anti disease aura on ember instead of evil eye, got greedy.
Still am really bothered by the low zoom, I really hope some bag of tricks like mod will fix that in the future. Tiny streets + low zoom is really not a good combo, missing the wide grasslands of kingmaker.

Yep. Even in this thread you see people complaining that casters are worthless in ch 1... As I've said many times, use blur, mirror image, enlarge person, haste(...). A lv 1 caster is far more useful casting a enlarge person in the barbarian than throwing a single magic missile/snowball and being worthless for the rest of the day.

I have to say, that garrison dungeon, while impressive in how big it is, it's a damn slog. So many god damn fights, pretty tough ones too, and right now I feel the game is just trolling me. Opened a door, in there there are several small demons, a couple of half-demons and 2 freaking minotaurs. wut.

Wasn't too hard, just exhausting. So damn many encounters, and they all go the same way - spam grease. Seems nothing else really do anything, the only one that does any kind of damage is the rogue with crits. Otherwise it's an endless click end turn for 2-3 damage each turn, many times 0.

Pathetic. Superior master race 2h fighter charges into the fray and gibz anything unlucky enoguh to be in the weapon reach. Got last stand for mythic so now charge is even safer.
Gave thundering to paladindu so now she can at least do some basic damage even when she misses.

Or you can pick a caster class like Hagbound (unfortunately her claws are bugged at the moment - biggest problem with current release is missing/dysfunctional class abilities) that can attack early then cast big spells late.

Disease is manageable with Treat Affliction. You can buy one Death Ward scroll if you’re worried about lvl Drain. Daeran comes with Restoration, Lesser for ability drain so no reason to spam rest for that.

Protective Luck can be a decent early choice for Ember and just spam it on whoever is taking the brunt of the damage. Remove Sickness from Daeran is a long-lasting + 4 saves vs Disease.

He’s good to have along early since he can Channel to heal or AoE Undead then Sound Burst stuff to interrupt casters and make things easier to hit and keep Bless and Shield of Faith up to free up Cams slots for Prot Evil or whatever.

I dunno, I beat the whole Seige of Drezen without resting once in the beta on Core (with difficulties at the end), but now I'm struggling getting by the beginning without using the spells I'm saving for the end.
There's a bunch more spellcasters and level drain than I remember, though it has been a while. Could be I'm willfully blocking out the difficulties I had.
