Magic on the Crusade

Another stretch goal is unlocked, setting up a portal of Areshkagal's realm... What's next?

The primary way a crusade differs from usual adventures is in terms of scale - giant armies march across the Worldwound at your command and battle hordes of demons and other abyssal spawn. Magic must accommodate, and also move to a global scale. With this goal, you will be able to research and cast strategic rituals, like in Master of Magic, Age of Wonders, and Dominions series, and change the rules of war.

Can they reach it before the end?

It's better than them locking a crucial feature behind one final stretch goal. What we've got so far I am more than happy with.

Intelligent Weapons are an uninspiring gimmick, and I have never, ever, seen them done well. It's just garbage. It's not just that it's a lackluster stretch-goal (if that is it) but that I actually don't want them in the game at all.

Let's hope that's not it.

If they give us the ability to actually influence the world and the battlefield with spells like Control Weather, Plant Growth and Move Earth I am gonna shill for Owlcat until the end of times.

Ratfolk Swarm Druid sounds quite druid-y, I'm definitely going with that if we get the rats. Aeon can also be that if we perceive it as a guardian of balance, but eehh.

Ratfolk even have a swarm-y archetype, called Swarm Monger.

Now, we don't know what archetype they'll get in Wrath of the Righteous, they might pick some other or even make their own, but I thought I'd mention it.

The Swarm-that-Walks is supposed to be based on locusts, though, unfortunately.

LoL that is a retarded name buahahahaha. Arch in generally means grand,a higher title than the median one of the chosen profession. An archlich is in de facto a demilich. It should have been something along the lines of lumenlich. Buahahahaha it just shows that the quality of D&D's modern writer. It is quite ironical really,D&D was based on ancient roman and greek mythos and its writers/creator were/are well versed in both languages. Now we have retards that don't even know the basic meaning of words and throw them left and right.

If we want to get really pedantic Arch means ruler, so an Archlich would be a lich with other lesser liches as his vassals.

If we have to be pedantic,it means bent. The title meaning comes from the roman triumphant arches,with times arch became a synonym for triumph,thus it is great or grand. In generally means to achieve great success/triumph at your craft and become a master of it.

Probably will do 8 playthroughs.

I too intend to do quite a few playthroughs...and all of them will be pure human legend. Have no interest in playing as some pretentious semi divinity....when i am already a superior being by design !

In way,they are. They could channel only type of power,but there is nothing against changing polarities. The problems arise when you try to mix both currents and end up burning your house .



That magic shit looks interesting,far better than half the goals in this fund raiser . I do hope we get it,they should have put it in the place of all those furry garbage.
