Sample size is small, but if it bears out for the full hour, we've ramped from 5-7k an hour to 8-12k. Still a lot of time to go too. I could see us hitting 2.1M if it ramps more in the final 1-3 hours, like usual.

From the twitch AMA they did a hundred or so pages back. He was talking about Wrath of the Righteous, and how difficult it would be. I don't know his name. I do know there were two of them. One a female and the other a male. He was the male guy.

Honestly, reaching 2mil just before things end and seeing another stretch-goal beyond the current one that we cannot see would be really cool.

I'm a bit surprised they didn't give us an opportunity to unlock the other genasi, like ifrit, sylph, and undine, or any other planetouched, like axani and/or cansin.

Agreed... I assumed from the earth genasi/spanish goal that there'd be other goals featuring pairings of genasi/translations. Maybe that one went over so poorly with backers that they decided to avoid the rest?

all the objectively Evil shit is still there, and Gygax was pretty fucking based. I think it has more to do with fundamental forces necessary for creation, etc. I'm fine with Negative Energy not being Evil, too, but then Good and Evil priests should both be able to channel it, and Necromancy be Evil for some other reason.

I mean, Being/Non-Being is prior to Order/Chaos which is prior to Good/Evil so one could say that Negative Energy is Non-being and thus prior to the whole question - before rather than Beyond Good and Evil. I don't know, man, to me that just more of the autistic slavering for novelty/originality in all things, inventing every wheel over and over. Same flaw that buried Modernism.

Nope, but I meant more in terms of influence in general. As far as I've been able to tell, Negative Energy was *never* Evil, despite draining the life straight out of you.

I want to stay hopeful, especially for axani, but I'm jot sure if we'll get any racial DLCs this time around. They sold reactivity not just as a bigger thing in this game, but in as a fucking stretch goal to add to it. Unless it's a simple cash-grab, adding a new race, let alone 3 or 5, is a major undertaking, as you'd have to track through the game and add new stuff to existing scenarios and dialogues.

That's no small thing.

I'm not hopeful about actual reactivity, it's too big of a game for that, it's going to be Deadfire-style "reactivity". At most, only the Mythic Paths are going to narratively change anything and I have my doubt there as well.

Hopefully that means the more of the DLC this time around'll will be proper expansions, rather than just bite-sized add-ons.
