LOL: three is the new never-ending. I'm without doubt amused.

My fucking God does the game look butt-fucking-ugly right now compared to the initial videos.
The opening cutscene is very good, they perfectly nailed the mood.

UnstableVoltage Are the regular guns still in? Because in the second video all the weapons seem to be futuristic light projectors without any punch behind them. 20+-year-old 2D games like Fallout have a better shooting feedback (no matter what type of the weapon we are talking about) than this. While we're at it - are there going to be different death animations and dismemberment? If I hit an alien with a generic futuristic weapon I would at least like to have him either cut to pieces or see his skin/body burning to crisp.

The main reason for the controller shift is that as the story became more complete and fleshed out, the less the mouse and keyboard original design fit in with the narrative.

They used console UI to show this image... wtf... they are no longer even pretending this is a game for PC..
Screw these old PC fags. Consoles are where the real money at.

Why do you compare two different games? Compare the sales of PC vs consoles on the same product. This doesnt show anything.

What makes you think I'm comparing these games?

:hmmm:

I didn't even think about the need to explain that XCOM sold significantly better on PC, despite the fact that Firaxis did everything they can to bend under consoletards.
