My fucking God does the game look butt-fucking-ugly right now compared to the initial videos. Wasting all that money on making new 3D models of everything just so they could make an inferior version is simply mind-boggling.

UnstableVoltage Are the regular guns still in? Because in the second video all the weapons seem to be futuristic light projectors without any punch behind them. 20+-year-old 2D games like Fallout have a better shooting feedback (no matter what type of the weapon we are talking about) than this. While we're at it - are there going to be different death animations and dismemberment? If I hit an alien with a generic futuristic weapon I would at least like to have him either cut to pieces or see his skin/body burning to crisp.

How? Enemies in UA have no dialogue. Let alone humming. Those Otherside boys must be putting in loads of crunch time.

I didn't even think about the need to explain that XCOM sold significantly better on PC, despite the fact that Firaxis did everything they can to bend under consoletards.
