Divinity: Original Sin Divinity: Original Sin 2
but what makes you assume it's console and not PC with a controller?

Because the premise is that only a exquisite retard would want to play a strategy game with a controller attached to a PC.
So it's safe to assume the footage is taken from console gameplay because slurping retards to a such degree are few and far between out there in the world (the Codex being an exception of course)

16, better than nuXcom but hell.. what is so wrong with being able to swarm the enemy with rookies much like the original UFO. 'Depending on mission type' sounds.. sketchy. Post apocalypse or not, trial by fire. I hardly think losing say, two-three hundred men during a campaign is that big of a deal in a world where the narrative states that thousands of basic civilians are slaughtered when just a single haven falls. The Long War made that firaxis game at least somewhat more playable just because you weren't limited to 4-6 special snowflakes.
I really hope Phoenix Point won't require someone to come up with a long war equivalent to make it play and feel more like a proper UFO game, out of the box.

Biggest teams in Long War on some missions were 12 people so I am not sure what you are talking about.

They used console UI to show this image... wtf... they are no longer even pretending this is a game for PC..

Jesus christ that looks messy. The icons are huge. Yuck.

Have to be able to see it when your sitting on a couch with the TV 3m away playing your Xbox One.

Someone tell me again how this hasn't been changed for Console ? (And who knows what they've had to change in the actual engine to cater for Console limitations) Would never have backed this in hindsight. Wonder if the change Graphical Style magically coincides when Microsoft paid up so they could appeal more to the Xbox audience.

We know that MS has invested in this, but the extension of that investment is unknown. We were only told that it allowed them to work on two versions at the same time.

He who pays the piper calls the tune, I guess. Sadly, that doesn't apply to backers. I feel pity for the poor sods who expected this to be PC-centric and got fucked by Gollop and MS. Happens quite often with crowdfunded projects though.

I'm sure people will trip over themselves to buy this on consoles. As always, pretty much no one will care and people who do will get an inferior product.

Not learning from other's mistakes and failing to acknowledge obvious, repeating patterns is fine when you're a teenager. When you're trying to run a business it will kill you.

The more we know, the more :decline: it turns out to be. I think the change to the queen is actually recent.
