I take it with the moon special on gog Neptunia, Ys, and Sunrider are pointless buys? Well, Ys looks solid enough i guess. Sunrider doesnt look to be much of a tactical space rpg at all and more VN.

I saw Starnova but that has nothing to do with space at all.

What a shitty way to start the morning, seeing such a unique and well loved gem of a series from my childhood transformed into what looks to be a fairly mediocre Diablo clone.

I wish they would make Way of the Samurai 5 ora something with a more serious approach to production value.

Something like Yakuza did with their spinoff I guess.

Both WotS and Shinobido are long past due for new, proper entries. Sad that this is the form it takes.

Well, Acquire and Spike Chunsoft are definitely not up for AA production, especially these days. I'd welcome the change of perspective and lower production value if that's what it takes to make a new Way of the Samurai game, but Diablo clone? That's beyond me.

Yeah, Square Enix should hire the developer (ArtePiazza) to redo all 2D remasters of Dragon Quest and other old Square and Enix RPGs. They've actually worked on several Dragon Quest games after all.

Kinda makes me wonder why they skipped the first Romancing SaGa, though. That's the game could actually benefit from some changes like tweaking no-win scenarios player can end up in. Third installment also kinda built on that one.

Probably because the first was fully remade for ps2. Wonderful remake, try it if you haven't.

Grandia HD is out now:

For anybody wondering, skip it and play the emulated psx or saturn version.
None of the saturn stuff is even in the remaster and it is a piss poor filter applied over the psx version.
Bonus negative points for the psx version having ahard type hack which is needed since the game is piss easy.
