This looks cool, anyone played it? How is the translation?

This looked insanely cute and I've wanted to try it, but the gameplay seems like it might get on my nerves after a while.
I am wary of purchasing it because I heard the devs just threw the script on deepl and called it a day. Meh, next time I see it on sale I will buy it.

another Soulslike made during Elden Ring boom
This is clearly much more inspired by Devil May Cry, except with more open exploration. There's very little in that trailer that communicates Soulslike besides maybe there being large boss fights, which is also something found in the primary inspiration (DMC).

Hey guys, I have a small, dumb question and didn't want to open a dedicated thread for it. I know practically nothing about "Eastern" RPGs. I lurked through this thread from page 1 to page 18 and found a few interesting titles (Tales of Wuxia, Tales of Hongyuan, Hero’s Adventure, and maybe even Magic Ganglia). One of the few things I do know is that I’m not a huge fan of JRPG-style combat (I only enjoyed it in Felvidek, helped by the fact that the game is short and very enjoyable for other reasons).

So, my question: are there any Eastern RPGs with an isometric/decent-pixelated view, preferably turn-based combat, and C&C? I don’t care if they’re recent or not. The only ones I know something about are Anito and Prince of Qin. I’ve only played the latter, but it felt too much like an H&S with little else. Probably Anito is the same.

Any suggestions? Insults?

Try Hero's Adventure for pixel graphics.
Try Wandering Sword for pixel graphics.

Try Tale of Wuxia: Pre-Sequel for 3D graphics.
Try Path of Wuxia for 3D graphics.

Once you have played these, ask me about Ho Tu Lo Shu.

Thank you, good sir.

Yes, The Hero's Adventure, Tale of Wuxia, and Path of Wuxia are already on my "to try" list.

I had already noticed Wandering Sword and I find it extremely fascinating, but its combat system might end up boring me. However, it's one of those games that immediately caught my eye for its graphics and personality.

Then yesterday, while continuing to browse JRPG threads and doing some specific searches, I also came across "The World of Kungfu: Dragon and Eagle", which really stood out to me, "The Heart of Darkness" and "Guild Saga: Vanished" which, among them all, seems the most promising.

I have also read a lot about Ho Tu Lo Shu (especially coming from you in this thread). Isn't it "action"?
