Some new shit released in EA, ppl on translation discords say it could be interesting

As for me, I feel like the gameplay formula in those *-xia games is kinda not very good.
You get a hugeass game, with some kind of open world, some semblance of plot and a lot of side activities BUT there's a shitton of grinding.

Every NPC has some sort of relation meter, that can be increased with gifts to open new interactions like sparring for xp and loot, inviting to party, learning new skills or getting OP items. BUT, you have to literally check every npc you encounter, and repeat this dance of gifting-fighting. Several hours in this shit stops to be fun, you just do the chores.

Also, if they have any semblance of AI and life imitation, it is usually very barebones. In Tale of Immortal, npc cultivators dont fucking cultivate properly, and cant collect breakthrough ingredients. In Immortal Way Of Life, it is clearly visible that some of them have scripted cultivation, and some die from an old age while you are earing weird pills in your room.

They have a role system with tons of skills, weapons, sects/schools, perks, feats, traits, BUT usually there are 2-3 clearly OP choices, and everything else is shit and no one tried to balance it.

They try new approaches, and invent new mechanics, BUT its very hit or miss

And translations. They either do a shitty MTL without adjusting the English lines to fucking fit the interface, or fucking ignore the pleas to do even a shitty MTL, so you have to go to discord to get a shitty fan-made MTL translation.

Still miles above the western mainstream decline, though.

Pathfinder: Wrath

Heluo next game is Ho To Lo Shu sequel if I am reading this right:
日前剛立項的新作之中,我們將以《河洛群俠傳》為基礎,期許在此基礎上做逐步的優化,一步步的把這個產品做改良,不管是效能上的提升,互動性上的增加,世界的探索更為有趣。

That's basically the same thing I am getting from that. Using the first game as a base for the sequel, with improvements such as better performance, and interactivity with the world.

I hope they keep it single player, and turn-based.

Might be my favorite game of theirs, I just need them to actually fucking FINISH IT this time. None of this buggy half-finished release followed by 6 months to a year of content patches that get it to 75% or so before finally being abandoned as they rush to start a new project to keep from being foreclosed upon or whatever dire financial emergency they're always under.
