Anytime, Bee! :salute: Unlike the Codex, I am flexible enough to scale my posts down to your level, naked midget. Do you finally understand how retarded your posts have been and why formatting is important?

You're missing the point, Marsal. Again. But you're pretty endearing the way you are.
Good style, decent execution. I liked the Brofist. Nice touch! If only your editing skills were as good as attempts to derail this "discussion", we wouldn't be here in the first place. You don't want to admit you were (are?) ignorant, dismissive of valid criticism, made several retarded posts and can't (refuse to?) understand a simple line of reasoning even when dumbed down to triviality, fine. Your choice. You'll have to do better than this, though.

May I suggest: "I've had enough of this pointless discussion. Stop trolling you bad troll, I have academic books to read!" Has a nice ring to it, don't you think? Or you could just take the high road and stop replying. Not as exciting and has an aura of surrender about it.

Whatever you do, at least read up on typography and text formatting. Just for fun.

Are these tweets up there for real or did felipepe just photoshop them?

It's called Photoshop.

Good, because some people in here seemed to actually believe these are real. :P

And don't mock me, this twitter shit is confusing to read for me, can't keep up with the times. :(
But it was just too funny not to want to believe. Best laugh I've had here in awhile. Also, what's this Twitter thing your talking about? :P

Wow, she even calls Square-Enix "The Mothership"! o_O

Sad thing is that I used to hear how SE headquartes at Japan were very serious against this kind of stuff, yet no one been fired yet... besides, looking at Famitsu famous 40/40 score, it's clear that japanese game journalism is in a massive decline as well:

Perfect scores

Nineteen games have received perfect scores from Famitsu. They are listed in chronological order:

  16. The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword (2011, Nintendo, for Wii)[20]
  17. The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim (2011, Bethesda Softworks, for Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3) - the first non-Japanese game to receive a perfect score.[21]
  18. Final Fantasy XIII-2 (2011, Square Enix, for Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3)[22]
  19. Kid Icarus: Uprising (2012, Nintendo, for Nintendo 3DS)[23]

The decline is impressive post-2008, they had more twice more 40/40 and the same ammount of 39/40 in the last 4 years than in the previous 10 years... and clearly some of the games are AAA shit FAR from deserving such praise...

It'd be all fine, Marsal, and I'd accept your point if your attempts to educate me had anything to do with what I said and weren't just you talking to yourself.

The writing (as Brother None said earlier) has some issues. Those run-on sentences are a bit much.

It's a really good editorial despite that.

...

Game journalism reminds me of sports journalism. You have the same type of issues of buddy / buddy relationships between sports org PR departments and barely more than hobbyist "journalists". The big difference between sports journalism and game journalism is that in sports there are at least SOME good journalists with real platforms. It seems like the only real journalism that exists in gaming is stuck to personal blogs, or handles only certain subjects.

Not as good as the last attempt. :2/5:

The important thing is that you learn to properly edit texts you post are given to post. Learning not to be ignorant and dismissive of valid criticism will have to wait, it seems.

Yeah, I tried signing up at some point, was already pissed that I couldn't use usual Mails and had to use Uni-Mail, then never got a reply or got my Account unlocked and didn't bother again.
