Word retardedness does not exist, there exist word retardation. However, this is not case of it since I not claimed that my opinion should be reinforced on all games, I just can't help it, but feel that surreal feeling that tell me that something wrong and W3 and Dark Souls shouldn't be considered as RPG. On another side you have points, but another side I feel that devs love mark anything that is not shooter or strategy as RPG novadays. This was dilemma in my mind, so I was posted that comment to check how people reacted. Well they reacted as always, hate and emojisYou confuse facts with opinions.
What you claim has nothing to do with opinions, it is on the same level as claiming that 2+2=5.
RPG, role playing game. You play a role. Any role. It is not PRPG (predefined) or CYORPG (choose your own).
It is in the fucking words. No assumption is made on the nature of the role. By pure language.
You can not disagree on that, you can only either be right or wrong.
Your "opinion" that RPG needs to have the option to create your own character is on the same retardedness level as that one guy on the Watch who claimed that only fantasy games can be RPGs

Besides, I don't consider shit that they written here as mockery, it's not affect me at all. They can't do anything besides attempts to prove that they have some kind superiority (which they not have in any measurement system).

Divinity 2 deserves first place because when playing it really feels that any wacky idea you can have and you put into play, it could be viable solution to a problem.
It had its cringy moments (eg. soft core porn fiction and a plethora of bugs) but the sense of liberty and openness the game conveys to the player trumps all else.
