simple improvement I can think of while playing Lost Judgment, having a great time by the way. almost done with the base campaign. cleaning up some side quests, school stories before the finale / starting Kaito Files
-hub fast travel while within the school (exit school, fast travel to different floors/club rooms)
-adding boost pads or grinding boost while traversing the city while skating (more tricks would be fun)

Dammit when are they gonna make a standalone pocket circuit game. Crom knows that could really take off if you throw in a level editor.

Adding in a "Crazy Eats" delivery minigame is a bit odd when the game has straight up ads for Uber Eats on billboards.

Wandering the world randomly in search of maps
These guys crank out these quality games so regularly without 5+ year delays, massive cut content, incessant dumbing down, or any pandering to the elusive "new fans".

Fucking western devs should take notes.

inb4 western game journos demand all sexy/lewd aspects of the game be censored.

Probably because the games are small in size and and tight in scope, but rich in content. All those minigames ought to be easier to make than stuff like base building and spaceship crafting.

They did remove one "offensive" quest in Yakuza 3. But yes, I will buy their stuff without hesitation.
