Star Fox 64 was (is) better than Scam Citizen will ever be:

Hey, don't insult SF64 by comparing it to this trash. That game is fucking fantastic.

You have to remember that people like this actually exist:

Playing RDR2 has really boosted my excitement for SC. Aside from being a genuinely great game all-around, I think it works as an excellent proof of concept for a lot of what CIG is trying to do. I legitimately clip-clop through town at a jogger's pace saying "howdy" to everyone and just taking in the scenery. I purposefully avoid fast travel. I spend days on end hunting because I enjoy it, but also because I don't want the story to end. I can't wait to see how I procrastinate in the 'verse!
The crazy part in this is that if it didn't provide easy Honor, there's no reason you'd want to greet everyone when you have 5 different precanned robotic dialogue chains. Though you do have to move slow as shit since the game's crime system is massively annoying so you don't want to get bounty on you from just bumping into someone.

Also "great all-around" simply isn't compatible with the drunken elephant controls and combat.

If you have not been closely following the Star Citizen Epic Internet Space Drama Spectacular, this is a great little summary of the questionable marketing tactics and current status of SC:

This guy is good because he is not a drooling fanboy, he calls out all the bullshit, but he is also genuinely interested in seeing SC release in a functional state.

Let's see what the comments say...

Been playing Star Citizen every day for many years now and its definetely worth it even with lack of content cause the world is so dynamic and interactive that players make content themselfs.

Honestly I don't regret any of my pledging up to to this point. Despite the bugs, I have sunk more hours into SC in the last 3 years than all my other games combined. In that sense I feel I have already got my moneys worth...

My Friend, just with the title you tell us, that you dont understand this „Game“.

You say „dont buy the Game“. But Nobody on this planet has bought Star Citizen. we donate money so that this game can be bought at some point. in return you get a ship and a game package. if nobody would donate Star Citizen, nobody could ever buy and play this game because there is no Publisher like EA that says „hey Chris, forget all the cool content, just finish the game, we want to get our money back quickly.“ that's a huge difference.

And that is the reason why you are wrong with your assessment.

Misleading title; you aren’t BUYING the game, you are supporting development and being able to watch it be built step by step.

Backing it for the minimum amount is acceptable IMO, as there is already some game play available, and the bug problem is about comparable to Battlefield 4 Beta back then. And once the single player campaign releases (successfully of course), it alone will probably deliver more than a normal new release that costs something like $59.99. Just be aware what you are getting yourself into before sinking too much time and money in.

the game is playable and is fun. The game is in progress, it is the best time to get in to because you get many bonuses as a supporter. You already can buy the ships in game what are you talking abut, you dont know what you are talking about go play the damn game. Red Dead Redemption was in production for 7 years, had 1000 developers, and a 600,000,000$ budget. This game was in production for 6 years but only has 500 devs and 200,000,000$ budget.

Have you tried to build a game like this? I takes lots of time... i'm an early backer that voted to build my dream game... They actually listen to the once investing in the company...

...anybody wanna start a kickstarter with me? Flight sims? New WoW?

It's easy to understand why Scientology was such a success. Forcing your members to donate everything they have to you must have some sort of manipulating effect on the mind.

My only curiosity is when Chris Roberts will announce the date the aliens will take all star citizens into a comet so the mass suicide enlightenment process can start?

Interesting... who would have thought. I should pay that Derek Smart forum a visit, because he was absolutely convinced SC would lose.

Except nobody has won or lost, no hearing was had, and the actual hearing is like 8 months away. That guy has been shilling for Star Citizen since the moment the case was announced and seems he's continuing to do that now.

Well, unless he's just flatout lying in the video, he seems to have a few points, though.

I don't mind either way. More butthurt will be generated, one way or another.
The butthurt must flow, indeed.

I'm not a youtube lawyer, but from what I've seen of this case in general, the thing basically goes so:
1) CryTek dumps a bunch of claims
2) CIG refutes all claims
3) Judge looks at claims and refutes and tells CryTek to amend their stuff (when needed) or have unamended claims removed from the case

Considering CryTek has like a dozen major claims and there's a couple of said claims that could get fully removed, I think the shitfest is gonna drag out to the point both companies are dead. Maybe they'll drag down their law firms together with them since no-one'd be able to pay.

Also, I've not watched any of his videos, because I'd need to be extremely bored and supremely high to watch a Youtube lawyer lawyering shit of all things.

I mean, I've been to an actual court as an observer once and it was fucking dull. Why the fuck would I watch a dull person talk about dull shit.

Yea you could pretty much drop the Youtube there and just go with "you'd need to be extremely bored and supremely high to watch a lawyer lawyer."
