The last motherfucker in the final Roland campaign mission finally dies.

You may not like it but this is what peak performance looks like. Managed to clear out the map despite starting with the crown instead of the carryover army.

I started by completely ignoring all castles except wizard. Sent out all my heroes to pick up every possible resource pile there was, and get all the gold from treasure chests, so I could get titans ASAP. XP crates? Fuck you! The king's treasury is in dire need of tax dollars!

Finally at the start of week 3 I managed to get Roland 9 titans. I had the upgraded cloud castle at the start of week 2 but then my eyes popped out of their orbits when I saw how much the stupid titans cost, so I had to delay another week. After that it was BLITZ TIME MOTHERFUCKER. I went for the barbarian (green) first, effectively knocked him out in a week (he lost all his main cities, had some undeveloped neutral settlements in the middle of the map, so he stopped being a threat). Immediately afterwards I go after warlock (yellow), and the first of his cities I chance upon is actually his main one, and it seems like he's just built the black dragon tower there because there's 1 available and none of his heroes have them - talk about perfect timing. The city also has dimension door in the mage guild. Yeah. The tables have turned, motherfuckers.

Next day after conquering yellow's capital is a new week, so now I have 7 titans and 4 black dragons. I continue clearing out yellow, then splurge on an army for my dormant sorceress and send her against necro (purple). It ends up as a suicide rush as she takes necro's capital but then gets wrecked and has to retreat, so this isn't all that bad. Then I activate the dormant knight and send him against the neutral settlements in the middle while Roland keeps jumping around the map squashing any and all opposition.

Finally all the three enemy factions are eliminated within 4 days of each other as all my combined forces close in on the last vestiges of their pathetic realms. What a rush.

Archibald can wait till tomorrow.

Steve gets a Kidney but I don't even get a tag.
Skinless torso beast is still one of the creepiest enemies in any game ever

Finished :salute:

The original Tomb Raider is still the best in the series. Great level design, great atmosphere, solid puzzles. Combat is shit but most of the time it can be trivialized by platforming, and platforming is the game's core gameplay so that's fine. Just climb up somewhere the enemies can't reach you and fire away, or find a wide open place where you can perpetually side-jump to dodge ranged enemies. Even the few gun-using human enemies can be cheesed that way. Got through the game with pistols only and no medpacks, and got achievements for that. Very nice.

Now onward to TR2, which is also a great game but sadly has a lot more combat, especially against human enemies with guns who can't be cheesed by platforming, so you just have to deal with the crappy combat. Also, too many humans make the levels feel less desolate and lonesome, which is the greatest strength of TR1's vibe.

Squirrels look like this. You might disagree. You might even have some evidence to the contrary. But you have to ask yourself: is this really worth losing my job over? Squirrels look like this.
If you haven't realized yet, in Grimoire, monsters for which you don't yet have sufficient knowledge will appear as having the name ?SOMETHING_MISLEADING?
