That's... that's some terribad 3d graphics. It's either NWN2 or DA:O, of which I've only played 10 minutes of the former.

Don't play Complete. Seriously, don't.
Get ZRP (Zone Reclamation Project) if you want a vanilla experience and you're good to go, you don't need anything else. You can get Absolute Nature & Absolute Structures or Photorealistic Zone 1 then Stalker Weather Overhaul and Shaders Max for eye candy

EDIT: might as well post why Complete is not a good idea if you've never played STALKER:

- All weapons have their accuracy increased by 10-20.
- Damage done to everybody is decreased by various percentages.
- Weight limit is increased by 10kg, the maximum being 70kg. In vanilla, the Exo-suit enabled up to 80kg!
- Limits NPC's eye sight distance so they can't spot you from beyond ~100 meters. Said to remove enemies skill to spot you from "unrealistic distances," but really means you always see them first every time.
- Sound radius of the knife and other critical sounds such as death cries, falling dead bodies, night-vision goggles, grass, and footsteps are greatly reduced.
- scientific suits with 90% rad protection now feature an anti-rad injection system.
- Bandages auto-apply at 10% health.

The following features are also available in other mods, but are usually balanced out with other forms of difficulty:

- You can bribe hostile factions to leave you alone.
- A repair kit that lets you service your armor and weapons without the need for a trader can be bought from traders.
- The bar trader and Screw now sell weapons and armor repair services.
- Elite Nightvision, essentially the black & white night vision based on the psy_antenna postprocess effect, replaces the original UV-based blue NV. Perfect vision in the dark is now possible, even without a real light source.

Crap, I don't wanna start over because I bet ZRP requires a restart. I just wanted to have some fun while roaming the Zone without having VATS.

Well, I don't see the bandages autoapplying...usually because I get killed before that happens.

Enemy NPCs seem to see me just fine and hear me as well. Plus they will hunt for my when I fail to connect and run off.

I don't use the knife often except to break down crates or other objects.

Even with the weight limit increase by 10kg, I still find myself getting exhausted easily.

I don't know, I am finding the game quite challenging, maybe I have gone full popamole in my old age or something.

Well you should go on with Complete and try ZRP later on if you want. There are also a couple of overhaul mods available but these make the game a lot more challenging.

I would restart with ZRP.

I don't know if complete does it but a lot of this sort of gameplay improvement mods of this sort do horrendous shit to the overall atmosphere. I once tried one that turned out to have filled X18 with snorks and outtake zombies right from the entrance on one of my replies.
Instaquituninstalldelete.

And remember - you only get experience the atmosphere and location fresh once.

The single player campaign is actually a bit better than your average COD crap. Not by much, but there's some degree of freedom from time to time. And the AI isn't completely braindead. Still, it's linear, scripted as fuck and has endless waves of spawning enemies. And the story is just fucking terribad.

Highest honour, you say... :hmmm:

(also, this game was seriously painful, and most of the time not in the good way)

No more like the dude is trying to be edgy about complete fixing some of the most glaring issues with Stalker.

So I can play this way without it being popamole because it sure as hell doesn't feel popamole. No computer assisted aiming, have to actually try to make head shots, each weapon feels different as far as accuracy and aim is concerned over long distances.

For the record, I am going to continue to play like this until I run into some problems. Well, other than this weird problem where a guy took a "family rifle" from me meant for another quest and now I have a half finished quest :/

Aside from the lack of cocking and reloading animations for the shotgun and super shotgun, this is one of the best Doom games I've played. Certainly the best looking and most atmospheric. On Nintnedo 64 no less. Consoles have seriously declined.

Why the hell did you enable so many party members? It's a cakewalk as it is...

I don't want to miss any additional dialogue lines/quests, since I rarely replay games at all. I am thinking of increasing the difficulty, but I'm fine with it anyway, since I treat combat in NWN/KOTOR as a filler that makes your cock seem bigger.
