How is Strider 2014, just a sidescroller or something more?

It's a fun sidescroller. You back track a lot to open access to locked areas that need you to have some item or upgrades. It reminds me of Mark of The Ninja without the stealth. It's not that difficult but it has lots of bosses and sub-bosses, and enemy respawning. I just bought it because I aways like the original, and it seemed like it was not a shitty reboot. The gamne actually is very reminiscent of Strider 2. Oh, and it looks gorgeous.

I finally beat Al-Qadim. I lost count at how many times I have started this thing and abandoned it after a couple of hours in. But it's a good game, I'm glad I eventually finished it after all these years.

In this episode: creepy dancing, extreme Templar action, and the return of the blandest protagonist ever!

Roguey approves.

Anyway, final verdict: even if you enjoyed other AssCreeds - heck, even if you enjoyed AssCreed III - stay away from this one. It's not just the worst AC game - it's simply one of the worst video games I've ever played. Boredom and that "I want to see this trainwreck to the end" feeling are the only reasons why I even bothered.

Why do you do this to me?
I'll have to play this game now to learn more about really boring and shitty games.

I... actually beat that game. There's something oddly addicting about chomping people with a giant shark. We need more games in that vein, stuff like Rampage and War of the Monsters.

My god, im replaying this and can't believe how good this game is after playing some of the new shit. Look how the level is spacious, look how small and elegant the UI is but gives all the information you need, look how the gun doesn't cover up 3/4 of the screen like today shit. The movement feels so good, fast and weighty, the gunplay is awesome also.

Jedi Knight is one of the best fpses ever.

Alas! in my skull
It's more difficult and somewhat clunkier, but once you get a hold of it it gets pretty satisfactory. I actually started to like it at the end of MotS.
