Some of the pics don't look so bad, I guess some of the designers/artists did have some good ideas.
Makes me wonder what they could have done, had the leads actually known how to make a real Thief game.

That Keeper compound could have been so much better: add rope arrows that can actually stick to all soft surfaces, make the puzzle a bit harder and most and foremost, let the player explore the caves. Voilà, you get a fun level.

That can't go, though, because modern game designers are all about the cinematic experience. What this practically means is that they are petty control freaks, but that has never stopped them since stupid, lazy people love being directed. I've been watching an episode in a Thief 4 playthrough, and it is clear the mouthbreather doing the commentary would become confused and angry if someone took his quest compass for five minutes and stuck him in an environment that wasn't carefully engineered to funnel him step-by step.

I like how you hear a crowd yelling about the hanging, then it pans down and it's 3 whole people. Also, as soon as it's over they just shut up and walk away quietly. I wish immersion-lovers would actually ask for real immersion instead of fake immersion.

Here is a real spoiler: in the end Clyde betrays you, you will have a sex scene with Kenny, and also the game ends with a QTE battle with Cartman.
