Sorry, I have this newshit feature disabled. This one?Link or it didn't happen.Wanna take over an LP?
It's not a RE game (shooter instead of horror-adventure), it's more retarded than previous games (plot, enemies dropping items, dialogue), gameplay is terribad due to clunky control scheme (older games were 10x more dynamic / easier to control, despite fixed camera), etc, etc. I really don't get how you can defend this game, at least when compared to its predecessors (superior in every aspect, maybe except environment interactivity).spekkio, don't be so harsh on the "THIS ISN"T RESIDENT EVIL!!!!111", and you'll see it's quite a fun game, with some really good moments.
That's exactly what I'm saying bro... don't compare it. Just consider RE 1,2,3 & Code Veronica as a series trying something, and RE 4,5 & 6 as another series trying a competently different thing.I really don't get how you can defend this game, at least when compared to its predecessors (superior in every aspect, maybe except environment interactivity).
Well, if it wasn't for its name, I would be even playing this POS. I just want to make sure that RE series died after RE0 & RE1 Remake. On its own, it's so bad it's not even funny. Conker - BFD for N64 has much better control scheme, for console FPS. And its FPS part is only one segment of the game. That's exactly what I'm saying bro... don't compare it
Let me guess - the same thing Beth tried when making Fallout 3?trying a competently different thing
Yup, the difference is that RE4 stands on it's own as a good game. The focus changed competently from horror/survival to shooter, and as soon as you understand that and stop taking the game seriously, you'll see it has a lot of fun to offer.Let me guess - the same thing Beth tried when making Fallout 3?trying a competently different thing
Nah, Dead State is too try-hard and gimmicky. RE4 is "for fun" and not trying to be scary, but that's better than acting all grimdark but only doing cheap jump-scares.In a "protag covers 80% of the screen and you can't see shit without twitching around like a retard" shooter subgenre, Dead Space 1 is still better methinks.

Besides, RE4 has an area that is REALLY scary, beyond anything that Dead State ever offered (fucking regenerators).

That actually came out? I remember reading previews of that in PC Gamer many, many years ago.
I was being rhetorical . It's a game I kept getting mixed up with a survival horror involving a TV crew.
