Too bad Quake Engine was licensed only by Raven Software to develop actual games (while others simply evaluated the code to develop their own engines).
It really allows to create beautiful graphics.

However, Quake 2 happened, and started the era of blurry shit with shaky polygons.

Half-way done with this series now... onward to Still Life 2! Though I did hear it's pretty meh.

Also fuck this game ending.

This is actually very slow fight because all the projectiles are slow moving and it all comes down to dodging them.

Dynasty Warrior 8: Extreme Legends. One with Yue Ying and Dong Zhuo is Dynasty Warrior 8: Empires which is, surprisingly, a different game, but with mostly same assets.

Thanks you, fellow Codexian. I will have fun playing this game after I read what it is about. I would brofist you but sadly I'm still in newfag zone. But soon!

Which Worms is that? I have World Party (disc) and Reloaded (Steam). There are a million sequels at this point though and it's hard to tell them apart. I believe there was even a newer one that was all based around water. Series is fun for a while but gets boring.

So the Silent Hill 3 PC port is complete shit. No way to force vsync that I could find, tried RadeonPro and everything. Tons of screen tearing. Also the framerate dips from 60 to 30 randomly and it's apparently unfixable. It was fun trying to even find an iso because Konami had some torrents taken down, yet there is no place to even purchase the game new. These retards won't put SH on Steam or GOG either because they hate money I guess or loathe PC gamers. Fuck Konami.

Playing it through PCSX2 now after digging up an experimental widescreen hack. Works good so far but who knows later in.

It's Worms Armageddon's Armageddon mode. I've been a Worms player since 1995 and I never seem to grow tired of those early Worms games. Worms 2, Worms Armageddon and WWP all share the same engine and they are very similar but WA has been patched, is available on Steam and it's easy to play online so we usually play that version these days.

Sadly the series has been in steady decline since Worms 3D. The game you mention, Worms Reloaded is a rather crappy port of a 360 game, it's very limited (fewer weapons and themes) and everything feels off thanks to different physics and other poor design choices, it also has truly horrific netcode. I never played the more recent Worms games.

Great, then you are the worm ( ;) ) to help me confirm something. I have Worms, Worms 2 and Worms World Party, and I don't see any reason to keep any of them except WWP, as it is the best version of the three. Sounds right?

I wouldn't/ couldn't sell them, have you no heart Unkillable Cat..

Choosing between the two is not as straightforward as it would appear. It's true that WWP and WA are very similar games and that WWP has more features, however WA is still being updated and has a more active online community. I'm not sure why WA is more popular these days. I also have no idea how well WWP runs on modern OS. If I really had to pick one I would probably keep WA.

That WWP soundtrack though

fake edit: Check out http://worms2d.info/WA_vs_WWP for more details.

It is for me, as I don't have WA.

Have a look at this.

Curses. In that case not selling any Worms games and hunting down a boxed copy of Armageddon would be the most sensible course of action.

I prefer to leave it for TOB. Even if you can’t upgrade the items yet, they trivialise SOA too much, and as much a I like to powergame I also like to keep a bit of challenge—even worse I guess if you use the mod that gives Cespenar’s recipes to Cromwell. Mainly I find it a good opportunity to give experience to Sarevok soon after you pick him up (if you pick him up). Also, though it isn’t really compelling for me, I guess that Watcher’s Keep fits the story best right after you defeat Yaga-Shura, since by then there is no perceived urgency anymore—yet if the game doesn’t bother to actually give you a real incentive, I have no problem letting Imoen/my soul/Saradush wait for weeks while I have fun adventuring in the Keep.

Jeez. When people were describing RE6 as bad, I wasn't exactly expecting... Well - this:

I had to check the FAQ to figure out WTF is this QTE about. But it was worth it! Leon (in a crashing-down plane) exchanges a quick "WTF is wrong with Capcom?" look with Ada Wang (riding on a top of a fucking tram below):

It looks that Leon crash-landed the plane in the middle of someone else's boss fight!

:abyssgazer:

This is not only the single worst RE game ever.
It's probably one of the worst games ever made. At least as blockbusters go.

:whatho:

I'm gonna play this game to the end. ITZ or mine.
