Model replacement. I was playing other where you could swap it for the shotgun from Shadow Warrior.

Mission Critical looks really interesting. How do one acquire it?

This game has disappeared into obscurity that much that it's hard to even get hold of it.

Well, apart from the slim chance of finding some dude in e-bay that sells it for 100 dorraru, you can probably grab it at some abandonware depot, like that russian old-games site.

Pity there are not 7 truly unique classes in Gothic 2, only Bowman which is all about cheesing over enemy pathfinding shortcomings(IE: climbing anything tall enough and firing arrows at the multiple orcs/etc trying to get to where you climbed until they die) in the early game, and later too, Melee specialist which is the coolest to play with in general and Fire Mage which will probably be very tough in most of the game until the really awesome spells show up. Otherwise I'd totally do it 7 times.

I couldn't beat it without cheats, the final half of the wad seemed impossible on UV.
:negative:
Absolutely amazing visuals and architecture throughout though.

All of them have less than 5 minutes. Although I agree, it was shocking to see it for the first time with all that nice long pre-rendered sequences in other titles .

Heh, I've been thinking 'bout replaying Noctropolis for quite some time.
Night Dive is apparently going to do a re-release at some time in the near future, with widescreen support, steamworks features and whatnot.

I really don't know why would you want to replay it. I had some problems earlier with the installation on the older dosbox. I've tried again and it worked.

The visuals are great and the story starts nicely. There aren't many adventure games mixing reality and comics. The real actors sprites aren't awfully out of place like in some other titles. What's the biggest problem with Noctrpolis, it's the streamlining. I can see how some man from up told the guys to make it more friendly to newbies. Now, instead of using item from inventory on the specific place/people/etc. you just need to press USE and nothing else. Your virtual character will figure the rest. Amazing, even Phantasmagoria felt better in that department (although it had other problem like tiny number of items). The only challenge could bring the timed sequences, but there are saves for that and once you realize the proper path you just move onward. The ending, where you need to talk with younger and thinner version of Cleve, and have to choose the exact responses like in some Visual Novel was cringeworthy. There are some tits though.

Played it -ages- ago, I have some fond memories of it. Might be a combo of nostalgia and me being one easily impressible kid back when I played it.

terrariasequoia-7-.jpg

started building it on normal in the jungle, finished after beating Golem

was a simple hill and a few caves
had to scout for wands and live trees on quite a few worlds before I began, and also clean them for more than 20000 wood

terrariasequoia-8-.jpg

Roots are underdeveloped as I was pushing up, recently cleaned the room in top right of everything since it went out of control, carried everything through teleporter into my new place

terrariasequoia-6-.jpg

digged this huge cave for Truffle in hope that giant mushroom trees would grow here, but only small mushrooms grow :sadsochibear:

terrariasequoia-4-.jpg

first small branches as I was figuring out how to combine living wood brances with leaves so it would look good on a minimap

terrariasequoia-5-.jpg

I was afraid I would run out of space for NPCs so second branch featured lots of small flats, turned out I wasn't needed I should have built bigger and bolder
These are too ended up being underdeveloped as I was rushing to get all NPCs into house. would add some paint and shelves

terrariasequoia-3-.jpg

The third branch was just that, because of complicated rooms even one house can hold multiple NPCs
I like NPCs moving all around so I only use platforms, no ropes or ladders

terrariasequoia-2-.jpg

This one ended up allright, as I was making house for this cute couple

terrariasequoia-1-.jpg

after killing Golem I manned up and made rooms for myself with a new place to store shit. made my first teleporter cause it was a bitch to carry everything from roots to top now. I only play single player so everything took so much time.

In plans is changing big part of roots into a workshop where I'd put all the crafting stuff and slowly coloring and stuffing rooms for NPCs with decor
Also plan on building more hellevators and cleaning corruption with that Gaian flamethrower
:Lady Deirdre Sky:

need to kill Fishron and try invasions before 1.3

First time I'm seeing that game. Some of those enemies have that... prosperous quality to them.
So, is the game any good?
