The first two games i completed on normal. The third game i am playing on hard.Kabas Which difficulty are you playing the Age of Fear games on and how do you find said difficulty?
AoF1 felt fair to me, especially considering the fact that i noticed very late all of the free hidden undead units in the necromacer campaign you can get. Was a bit boring the fact that i didn't have enough xp for all of the high tier abilities in both human and undead campaigns.
AoF2 felt a lot easier thanks to the openworld allowing you a little bit of grinding and exploity stuff like the moon temple easily letting you get the army of elite units with all abilities unlocked. The minotaur hero you can get as a reward for completing an optional dungeon in the orcish campaign is broken as shit.
AoF3 on hard feels fair to me. And even the moon temple now feels less exploity to me because of the fact that some of the fun units with lots of abilities(like the insectoid hunter) arrive very late.
Just finished the forest folk campaign. Things got a lot easier once Balvar got a good equipment(the shard sword with multi-attack, the medalion with execution ability, the sun artefact that gives a fire attack). As long as i properly use potions like the invulnerablity one i feel like all the fights are managable.
Dwarfs campaign also feels fair to me so far. I noticed that some of my choices are being influenced by my army composition. Like, i decided to help the ents against humans that one time because the pair of tesla cannons are way better counter against knights than the dire bears/ents combo. I am satisfied with the difficulty so far.

I predict that things will get a bit easier in the future though, because damn

Soul collector grown into one ridiculous sword, murdering that drider was totally worth it.
