Kabas Which difficulty are you playing the Age of Fear games on and how do you find said difficulty?
The first two games i completed on normal. The third game i am playing on hard.
AoF1 felt fair to me, especially considering the fact that i noticed very late all of the free hidden undead units in the necromacer campaign you can get. Was a bit boring the fact that i didn't have enough xp for all of the high tier abilities in both human and undead campaigns.
AoF2 felt a lot easier thanks to the openworld allowing you a little bit of grinding and exploity stuff like the moon temple easily letting you get the army of elite units with all abilities unlocked. The minotaur hero you can get as a reward for completing an optional dungeon in the orcish campaign is broken as shit.
AoF3 on hard feels fair to me. And even the moon temple now feels less exploity to me because of the fact that some of the fun units with lots of abilities(like the insectoid hunter) arrive very late.
Just finished the forest folk campaign. Things got a lot easier once Balvar got a good equipment(the shard sword with multi-attack, the medalion with execution ability, the sun artefact that gives a fire attack). As long as i properly use potions like the invulnerablity one i feel like all the fights are managable.
Dwarfs campaign also feels fair to me so far. I noticed that some of my choices are being influenced by my army composition. Like, i decided to help the ents against humans that one time because the pair of tesla cannons are way better counter against knights than the dire bears/ents combo. I am satisfied with the difficulty so far.

I predict that things will get a bit easier in the future though, because damn

Soul collector grown into one ridiculous sword, murdering that drider was totally worth it.

I like how this game has armed extremist elements of basically every nutty group out there, including but not limited to bible thumpers against rock music, anti-GMO farmers, people upset about migrants taking their jobs and fanatics who hate genetic science. I'm waiting for flat earther extremists now, although unfortunately they weren't as memetic in 2006 when this was made, so they prob won't show up.

Safety first during insertion: when stacking up, always make a shield from one of the cuffed suspects.

(right after taking this screenshot, Officer Wossname dropped a flashbang under the team's feet, which resulted in a total party wipe)

What kind of potato are you playing with? Ever heard of AF and AA? Guess not.

Planned on taking a break from Doom until John Romero released his new wad but since it has been delayed again I decided to replay this wad. It's even better the second time, definitely one of my all time favourite wads. Will post more screens as I make my way through this particular wad again:

Etherlords(Or Демиурги). A HoMM/MtG hybrid. Trying to figure out how the things work here.

^Managed to defeat a level 7 enemy hero as level 4 thanks to my decision to rely on bees and hornets. Bringing 10 hp Meatshields is kinda pointless if they can't block the flying units. And units hit by hornets autodie at the end of the turn anyway.
Taking additional self-sacrifice spellcards(sacrifice a unit to add it's stats towards another one) proved to be redundant.
