10000$ to visit a madman is way too expensive, i bet you could have a visit of cleve's bunker for cheaper than that , thats well worth brittania manor no ?
I hope those guys who paid that much are qatari princes and such, not poor guys who are getting broke just to see his highness , like i suspect it is by reading the comments.
A two-for-one deal where you visit Lord British AND Cleve's manor/bunker might interest me more.

A codex fund raiser for grimoire ,might achieve some of that maybe , yes lets pay someone from the staff a visit of cleve bunker, a walk through the minefield park, an overview of each death trap . Who shall it be ? I suggest grunker as he has first experiences as a reporter.

Do you take the wedding ring as a reward or not? What a tough moral dilemma. I wonder what the right decision in an Ultima game could possibly be.

the family comes under ambush from a pack of skeletons just as the hero arrives. This is a nice, quick little piece of gameplay that leaves the player feeling a sense of reward and accomplishment.
Did the gypsies steal the bronze plates on their tombstones or something?

Yeah, it makes it sound like the game is full of little piecemeal scenarios that you run into that don't have a huge bearing on the overall story. Garriott said something about wanting to make the game playable and fun in short sessions, which would make sense with the little short quests. Meh. This is getting less appealing by the day.

Give back the stolen wedding ring (they are gypsies remember, you cant believe they work for shit) to its owner : +1 honesty . Slay the gypsies right on the spot : +1 justice.

Meanwhile in belgium people innovate..... Here's some quest with choices and consequences, fuck stolen ring quests ! A pic(stolen from the watch) is better than a long explanation :

Are you drunk or something?

No , well not more than usual. But i wanted to make it clear that while garriot throw us a wow clone with cliché quests, theres new guys , like larian, making very innovative and more daring stuff, like the quest illustrated by the pic, with 3 different outcome for the death princess.

The picture didn't exactly explain that.

ah sorry then i thought everyone knew about it and saw it already , its a dragon commander quest, apprently you have three different outcome for the quest:"Like everybody else each of these princesses will have their own story arc and desires which you can help to fulfill or not. The undead princess for example is all bones and has a big desire to have some skin on her. Depending on your choices she might undergo a series of actions that will result in her becoming a beautiful blond or having a shiny robot-like look. To accomplish this you will have to make some really tough choices."

Thats sounds much more interistign qust design than the lost ring cliché quest we get all the time .

I suppose the only good thing is that this "game's" KS is not gathering much steam as far as pledges and money coming in. Even though they've had hours of video interviews/ chats very little actual game info seems to be out there other than "it's a persistent world (MMO) which can be played offline (half-hearted single-player)". Their whole KS presentation has been done very poorly which should have been a slam dunk with the Ultima pedigree alone. I know they'll make their goal but unless something changes drastically their "success" will pail significantly to T:ToN. This was just not the type of game (already having investor monies, MMO, insanely high tier reward levels, etc.) that tends to be successful on KS .

Yeah it should have be a gigantic slam dunk.

Then I saw MMO crap and was like, no thanks. Good luck with that.

There should be a pledge level that allows you chop his stupid little braids off. That should generate enough cash for his next space holiday.

It was only a matter of time until pieces of shit like garriott were going to abuse Kickstarter for market research and publicity purposes.
Soon to be renamed to Shitstarter, am I rite?
