Tablets? Cloud-gaming?

I don't understand this animosity towards tablets. It matters more what you play not the platform you are playing it on. I wouldn't mind playing PST, PE, WL2 on tablet while flying.
Different design philosophies. This is not about porting old classics to tablets (although it might be if you are a cunt about it like Trent), it's about designing games to be playable on them from launch. Whatever the in people tell you, touch screen interface is not a mouse. Not to mention that, fair or not, tablet and mobile games have a reputation of not being particularly deep (play ten minutes while commuting on a train) and having in built monetization.

Also, Gariott lies in this video. He says Ultima is the longest running rpg series in video game format.

That's a Lie.

That award belongs to Final Fantasy and Dragon Quest

Thats also exactly what Richard thought when he went into space!
That photo isn't from his trip to space, if you pay attention you'll notice the "Zero G" labels on people's clothes and the fact that he's in an aircraft fuselage. And the "Tabula Rasa" logo in the back. The photo must be from a parabolic flight they did for fun. In fact for a few thousand $$$ anyone can go on such a flight.

The Dragonlance novels were a good read... when I was thirteen.
I read them when I was twelve and even then knew they were not good for me. Then I tried the Forgotten Realms series, and it was actually even worse. :/
Do you consider the Cherubion books high literature? :troll:

Anyway, I used to be crazy about Dragonlance too. We played it at the RPG club, I read through all the books, I played the Gold Box games to death, I even wrote a crazy huge 'Mountain Nevermind' MUD zone (seriously, over 300k of pure text in descriptions and shit). Then I grew up, or something. Hey, at least I wasn't a Drizzt fan!

Douche status confirmed.

Edit: Someone who is better at Photoshop than I should take this picture and shoop Diamandis into the corner.

This times infinity! The Dragonlance books were just the text version of a popcorn movie and okay airplane reading. But compared to Salvatore's stuff, they were like the best of Melville or Hemmingway.

This picture just proves that Lord British is teaming up with singularitarians like Diamandis to create a new world order.

I'm not sure if it belongs to Ultima or to Might and Magic, but FF and DQ are not RPGs so your statement is false.

Come on, man, it is just Andharia's brand of humor. He makes silly posts like these all the time.
