I started as a Thief. Now I'm too far in the game to reroll Mage :(
What is the most fun fun class? Are there 2 factions for at least another fast play?

Game is nice, the humor is spot on for the series... the combat is shit, and easy shit at that, even in hardcore mode its ridiculously easy... but anyways, im playing this as an extended interactive South Park movie.

Next up... give me an Archer spy game!

There's one section where you can either support Cartman or Kyle, but that doesn't last long.

Humor is hit and miss, miss usually being a result of the creator's anal fixation. Some genuine laugh out loud moments, the combat is fun, but yeah, once you get the hang of it, which shouldn't take very long at all, it's a breeze. It's still somewhat satisfying, at least for my backstab thief.

I've encountered literally one bug throughout, the same one that almost everyone seems to encounter.(Cartman not reacting in early tutorial.)

Watchng an LP of this thing. It has a lot of good jokes in it that seem like old-style SP before it got preachy and about fart jokes, but the question I gotta ask is: Why make it an RPG? I see lots of Things here that would Work way better as puzzles in an adventure game. In fact, the bizarre logic of SP would make for a great adventure game instead of a substandard JRPG.

Also: fart, shit and assrape jokes. Yes, I'm sure this was outrayjuss and heelarious in 2001. Now, it just is not funny. SP can be really clever when it tries to be, it doesn't need that.

Occasional boss difficulty spikes are interesting. Al Gore wiped my ass the first time, mostly because of high damage output that I wasn't prepared for, then I figured using some PP potions on Kenny and having him spam his little rodents would do the trick. It's not much of a challenge but it is nice to be taxed at least a little. Apart from having to mash like a retard in the QTE parts that is.

And I can see why this game took ages. The meticulous attention that was put in detail after detail of the gameworld shows the SP creators probably kept adding shit all the time.

I've gotta say, the easy encounters make the combat systems seem simpler than they actually are. There's a lot you could do with it (Much more than with AP's or DS3's), but the game only ever seems to make limited use of it.

I wonder if difficulty got scaled down somewhere towards the end of development.

The PC port is pretty shitty. No key bindings, the button mashing is slower compared to consoles for some reason.
I'm amazed that the resolution is not locked on 720p.

Doubt they (or anyone for that matter) can be funny ALL the time, dumb jokes have always been SP filler, you either get used to it or you don't.

No, graphic shitting and assrapey jokes and whole EPISODES dedicated to shitfartbuttcocklicking is a disease of later years SP after they decided they couldn't be arsed to be witty and realised that their fans would lap up episodes about rectal prolapses as well. Sure, Mr. Hankey and Terrance and Phillip were early series characters, but when the only joke in an episode you write revolves around Mel Gibson graphically shitting on your lead character, there is something fucking WRONG with how you've evolved as a writer.

Also for non-retards download Spotflux and start playing.

Are there any eurobros who activated an uncut version with VPN here?
Does it check the region everytime the game is started like some other games do or only one time on activation?

every time steam calls home. if you want to keep playing before it comes out (or play uncensored version in censored country) keep steam in offline mode or spotflux (or the game, lol) running.

Pretty sure that whether you have a censored version or not is decided by your VPN when you buy it, not when you install/play it.

a) having a vpn on when buying it will very likely result in your account getting banned as gaben wants his money.
b) it is different for different titles. some stuff is censored based on ip, like tf2. most games are either version bought or based on ip during key activation when you buy steam keys from 3rd party sites.

Damn, that's what I thought. Thank you.

That's true but some games (very few so far) check your region everytime you try to start them. If the version of the game in your account is not available in your country they won't start at all.
The only way to play game like that is offline mode, using a VPN or using a crack.

18 seasons will do that to anyone, not a justification, just saying.

Having finished the game I'd say that the final act really pales in comparison to the rest. Humor was off and on, naturally, but it was straight decline for the latter half of the game. It was also mind numbingly boring, pretty awful end to an otherwise humorous game. I had some genuine laugh out loud moments, but as a whole it was pretty mediocre. The combat system was not that bad, I enjoyed the customization, although the leveling was less inspired to me, I had a lot of points that I just didn't care to use by the end because they didn't compliment my playstyle in any meaningful way.

Experienced no bugs outside of the one I already mentioned. Game itself played smoothly, encounters were decently varied, it could have been more difficult, but I imagine that would have distracted from the point, which was to make a funny game based on South Park. What brought the game down for me was mostly the writing team's over-reliance on scat humor, and the constant skyrim references.(Dad humor a la wasteland 2 turned to 11.)

Anyhow, I'd probably give it a 7 or something. Was Also rather disappointed in the fake choices in game,
it feels like siding with the KKK is pointless as Kyle still narrated the second half, which isn't really a good thing given how unfunny the character is
. Besides that I'm pleased it's getting good reviews, if only because it's good for Obsidian's reputation. Hopefully the retarded reviewers get their heads out of their arses and back off with the bug bullshit, as bugs really don't seem to be a widespread issue, at least not in comparison to real buggy releases that get no mention of their instability.

I just noticed something really neat, when you overkill a rat it blows up in the same way that a rat blows up with Bloody Mess in Fallout.

Angry Joe loves the game:

Kind of gushy, but overall a Pretty solid review, better than some of the shit the "professional" reviewers put out. Clearly this is his kind of humor. Although that might as well be an insult with the quality of those skitz and jokes.

Has anyone played through with multiple classes yet? Is there a big enough difference and does it actually warrant another playthrough?

Pretty far in...
Top moments so far (reasonably spoiler free):
Gnomes - AHAHAHAHA! Seriously, I did not expect Obsidian to have the balls - no, pun intended - to take the scene that far.

The first episode was about aliens anal probing an eight-year-old. It exactly didn't start high brow.

It actually was a lot sillier during first seasons. This "omg South Park humor declined over years" attitude is utter nonsense.
